People crack me up. I got these tells just cuz I was trying to camp Nue. Why is this good times? Cuz it's times like this that help me laugh. Getting all tense and angry at me just cuz I showed up? Relax, geez, it's just a game. If you get the claim, grats to you. If I get it, hope it drops and you won't have any competition. Why can't we all just get along D: ?

Thats so lame, whining about a person CC'ing them. When me and Brin and Canitoch were out there, there was like..3 other groups and 2 individuals CC'ing us, and nobody complained.

Well, maybe they did in /tells to each other, but no one openly complained. It's a NM! Expect competition! Nothing is without its price eh.

Did you get your drop yet, Rey? If not, tomorrow i'll be out there to help you, no problem. I like that camp :D

I'd been out there over an hour killing placeholders when a group ran through and went into Pso'zja. They left behind a Beastmaster who CC'd me and then got claim on Nue; he stalled it until they got back out. I was irritated, but I didn't bitch. I even asked if they got the drop so I could cheer them. It sucks, but what else is there to do in that situation?
 
lol @ that. as of today all i need is nue and an adamantoise egg for black belt now.... so you can expect to see me there alot til i get it... ;)

For me, Blabj, it's the money. I just got the Purple Belt quest done on Friday...after playing this game since NA PC Release. I had basically given up on trying cuz the stupid ram in Kon<tab> refused to ever pop for me. It did, LS member saw it, and I hauled ass and got the horn. Got the Dodo Skin years ago, Morbolger Vine from doing the KS30 with NT, and now I just need this cursed fang. 0/5 and rising...

EDIT: Wee, got the drop. 1/7...not too bad^^;. I've heard worse, but damn he's still annoying as hell.

i never knew the vine dropped from a ks thats interesting. one night me and nikoloi were camping the vine for him, and he had to sleep. so... i stayed up late and i got it for him, he is such a bish to camp. but he does give a badass title "morbolbane" i believe.

Ouch that sucks. I guess i'd have to consider myself lucky, I went to camp him after finding out about the quest and figured i'd try and get the belt for my bf Xean's MNK.. I went out, had no one else camping.. killed a bunch of tigers, and got the drop.

The vine on the other hand... tried camping it a few times, but with 20+ people in the area, its a bit discouraging >_>

This KS30 can drop the Vine. It's an NM Marlboro. People will give you horror stories about it's Insta-death attack, but it's actually not that bad at all.

I think Rones posted a semi-guide once, but I'll overview real quick. Evil Oscar really doesn't have a lot of HP or DEF. He still has his regular TP moves, but instead of Bad Breath he has Extremely Bad Breath (which causes Instant Death to anyone who gets hit with it). However, it's very easy to dodge this, as long as you're paying attention (+Movement speed helps tons here). You'll see a small message about him taking a huge breath, he's readying his breath move. On the 3rd he'll unleash Extremely Bad breath a second or two later. After you see the 2nd, whoever is tanking needs to unlock the camera and get ready to haul ass. Do it right and it'll waste the breath, no one dies, everyone's happy.

Only annoyance is that as his HP gets lower he "charges" a lot faster. Saving TP for around 75%, 50%, and 25% health is wise. If you can stick Gravity, do so. Bind also seems to be effective against it. Overall it's not too difficult as long as you focus and be prepared to die probably at least once due to screw ups that are bound to happen. This isn't a great money drop battle, but when my LS did it the Vine dropped every single time. Click the link I provided to see what else he drops, good luck :D
 
Can Morbolger kill you, make you lose 5k exp after raises, but still call it a great and fun night? Doubtful ;D.

Nuh uh. I didn't get a Vine. I think we did it 6 times and only 5 dropped. D:

For me, it's so I can use the belt. MNK is 40, and I've been working on my gear before I level it again. I got the O.Kote last week, and the belt is next on my list.
