lolDynamis ~ Xarcabard Interlopers

I wanted to add something to m yprevious post.

If you only do Dynamis for AF and items, you won't have fun. And with if you only do it for AF2 and items, you'll end up being sad when you don't get what you want. Go in to have fun, and don't give a fuck about what drops, you'll end up having a much nicer time in Dynamis.

And Pere, you act like you know what Dynamis is all about, and yet you have the attitude that Dynamis is only about AF2. But guess what, this is a game, and Dynamis is a part of that game. And games are ment to be fun, doesn't that tell you anything? lolDynamis have the right attitude towards Dynamis, and you still don't seem to know what Dynamis is about. That, if anything, tells me that lolDynamis is way ahead of your shell, in more then one way.

There's more then one way to define the success of a shell, and I wouldn't put the ammount of relics dropped very high on that list. The goal is for the members to have fun, and enjoy themselves, and to work together as a group. The AF2 and other items they get is just a bonus. That's the way I see it atleast.

One last edit before I go to bed:

Sadly, Dynamis, and most of this game, have become an eternal struggle to get the best gear available. I highly doubt anyone's deffinition of "fun" is to get the best gear available. Most people seem spend their time in this game to work, not to have fun. And from personal observation, most people, sadly, seem to do Dynamis for AF2 only. This makes me a sad panda.

IAF2 is situational, Shadow Ring and Mantle are situational.

Mantle on a Paladin is about as situational as breathing. Lamia's better if you see the nuke coming a mile away, sure, but the Physical damage negation chance far outweighs any loss of HP/DEF/VIT on a job that lives to be smacked around, more so if you can squeeze out a completely negated TP move every so often.

And yet people say its useless?

Thing is, the Shadow Mantle kicks in depending on how low your HP is. If I remember right, it kicks in about 15% of the time when your HP is red, and about 5% (or less) of the time when your HP is white. Don't remember the exact numbers, though. So yes, I would say its a very good piece of equipment.

However, its not worth using in exp parties, and that's what makes it situational :p

Either way, since this is off-topic, I'll once again congratulate lolDynamis for achieving something I, myself, hope to achieve in the future ^^
