You should be fully aware at this point that Peregrine makes up his own rules for threads he participates in. And if he says something has no content, what he actually means is that it doesn't have content that supports his argument.

I'm not sure, when not enough attend to enter the Dynamis zone, and they call off the run, is everyone penalized who wasn't there?

- If not, because the run was canceled there were no penalties, then no, they weren't penalized.
- If yes, because the run was canceled, then there should have been penalities given out to all for unattendence.

But best I can say is, jeez it was one night, like a year ago, and if I recall there were several apologizes to the people affected. Get over it! Have you never missed a Dynamis run in your history of running the shell?

I remember we had a discussion on the messageboard about it, and you vehemately opposed any lotting rules at all. At the time, so did I, because lotting rules would hurt me because I never attended on the weekend runs.

They would have helped non-OH members more who attended more than me, like for example Shyrra. Just as a matter of fact.

I don't think i'm dangerous, I play a tarutaru summoner/white mage in game and I'm a 5'2" Female IRL, I might be a little dangerous behind the wheel but that's about it. I just felt a mighty need to point out the Grand Canyon sized holes in your argument that you might want to look into filling in before you continue.

I joined the shell before the shell pearl was made, being one of the members of the shell that it was made from. if i remember correctly i was in the shell before daveman. was there when he got his pants, jb won the lot and passed to him, then jb won the lot on drop #2 @@;

searching me turns up only pere bashing? i have over 900 posts of pere bashing? maybe my last 4 or 5 and a few before that but you have to think back, there must be some roofie bashing and WSM bashing, gilseller bashing, and a ton of good times and fan art thread crapping.

I watched an irl friend do the san d'oria dynamis recently and i couldn't stop laughing at the poor bastard, the pulling was brutal and while the improvement was such that he mostly stopped pulling when the ls was weakened (after a wipe i remember one particular jeuno with the entire AH linkhed with 1/11 blms not weakened and about 50% of the other jobs in various stages of recovery when more was pulled onto us) it was still terrible.

I do recall the rules. I was against drop orders. I was against historic attendance. I was against everything that was trying to make it an OH assembly line. I was against making new people slave for veterans, because I knew how perfect was going to turn out months before it fell. You disagree with things that don't suit you. I disagree with things that are wrong independent of my position.

I can explain to you the reasoning behind what happened too.

Normally we wouldn't have been camping Fafnir on a time that potentially conflicts with Dynamis.

It just so happens it popped the very last window and if I recall there were complicating circumstances(that often arise in Dragons Aery) that forced the fight past what you might usually expect of it. The fight was a bit different then, being we had less experience with the HNM and there was no 1 hour time limit.

It's not an intentional slap in the face, you just had to take it so very personally. When the last window is up, and you KNOW Fafnir is going to pop, it's hard to leave even if you know Dynamis may be soon.

It was probably the wrong thing to do, but escaping out of a claimed Fafnir to go do Dynamis is quite honestly a STUPID thing to do. Being that you see Dynamis as the only endgame activity in the game worth doing, I suppose you'd disagree.
