Is there any way i can macro a Search comment so that i dont have to type it over, and over, and over? I always thought it was somethin like /seacom blah blah blah, but i cant figure it out for the life of me.

Thanks

/seacom line number(1,2, or 3) message
/seacomup color type

for if you're looking for a party, basically:

/seacom 1 <I want experience points.>
/seacomup expparty 1

I have several of those, also I have in the same macro /cm p to put me in party chat mode and /invite to toss my flag up; so I just have to hit one button to do everything.

Thanks for the info Baj, exactly what i was lookin for.

OMG YOU R TEH NUB, YOU GOTTA LIEK READ TEH MANUAL! lol

...Ditto, I'm gonna go make one now.

I think the feature was added about a year ago, I remember I was playing for a long time before I ever heard about them; so not having known about it before now is actually pretty common. The only reason I even made macros for my comments was because I kept switching jobs that I would lfg for throughout the day.

Wow. I really wish i had known about this when i was still playing. Definitly would have come in hand. I hated retyping search comments as i changed jobs i searched on.

ya I did this a long time ago, its easiest to do it like this:

Leave the first line open, so that you can just input your tnl, available subs, etc.

Now, to make the macro, first line is:

/sc 2 ToAU/CoP: O R/P: 6/6

then

/sc 3 Jeuno Warp: O Aht Urghan Warp: O

then third line

/scu expparty 1

Yea, i made Line 1 say "@ (Blank) " so that i can just go back and type in my TNL. I mule alot and re-typing my seacom over and over was gettin real feckin annoying.
