Side note: Decidence.... are those your crafting levels? I thought you couldn't have so many crafts that high of level. Other skills were supposed to diminish as ones increase....if that's not true...damn internet boards for spreading lies...

You're allowed 40 points over L60 (fishing doesn't count). I think there's 39 there if my math is correct...

Uhm, how is that helpful. Jono's word is good enough, so is Odon's, or is it? What gives one more credibility over another?

He is allowed 40 levels above 60 summed up from all crafts; however, fishing, which he has at 100, is excluded from this sum. So he could level any of those crafts to 100 and it would delevel the other to 60 (supposedly, never seen evidence a craft will delevel).

I know neither person in game (and if not obvious by my post count, I'm not a frequent poster/reader), so it's not like I'm trying to defend him. On several occassions, a PS2 player has asked me to take screenshots of their gear and synth results (Goldsmithing 72, iirc).

Yes... I'm delevelling Woodworking atm.

It would be pretty easy to prove Odon's crafting level without a screenshot if Jonosapi wanted to put some money into it.

If Odon is truly Lv98+6 then feed him Giant Bird Plume's and see how often he HQ's fletchings (Lv93). Or have him synth a Lv87 item naked with no support, 88 with 1 GP item, 89 with 2, 90 with 1.

Great idea!!

Ok I will challenge you to a Tier 3 synth. 48 synths total, with no glasses or apron or synth support making silver thread. If you truly are 98 you will come out with a 45-50% HQ rate. So that would be 20-24 HQ's. Anything less would amount in you being a liar. Consider this the lie detector test.

If he has the GP item for his moghouse thats one thing you wont be able to prove. But if he does HQ at Tier 3 level it proves he is at least above Lv97.
 
That also has a sub craft of 12 goldsmithing which is impossible to break tier 3 thus putting it at tier 2, try again.

Tier 2 then... that means you should HQ at least 10-15 synths.

Then you could see for yourself, I'm fucking brilliant.

Out of curiousity, does it actually give you a message that you are deleveling Woodworking or have you yet to get to that point?
