Longest Thread EVAR!!!

For some reason, around 55-60 seems to be where BLM start to pwn even harder than they already were pwning. Pre 55 i had never had trouble holding hate from BLM's, but in recent parties with MB's hittin in the 600-800+ range, it has completely changed the way i play PLD.

Is there any obvious reason for this? Ive never played BLM and have very little/no knowledge of spells/abilites gained at these levels...

P.S. This is the first post ive had at the top since this thread was started...i think ><
 
BLM get access to some great gear in the 50's... AF gloves at 54 (allows less resists on nukes), Elemental staves, Genius Rings at 54, and they get some really bitching spells to MB with (Blizzaga II, probably the MB's youre' talking about Tim). I hit MB's for 800+ with Blizzaga II and 600+ with Water III in a cramped camp... I kick a lot of ass, but I can also manage hate very well while doing so. What happened in the party with Jedi was a meltdown of the THF and DRG arguing and acting like little children, and a BLU leader who was very unimpressive as well... ah well. At least I only died once :)

PS: Maybe part of you not being able to tank as well stems from shitty BLMs... the ones that just throw all their big shit at the mobs 'til they run out of MP or it dies, and perhaps they get lucky and get few resists. :)

Wait until 69. =P Firaga III MB for 1300+. Record so far for me in F3 is 1476... still dunno why that one went so high. But yea... there have only been like one or two tanks who have been able to keep hate off of me from one of those.(doesnt matter much anyways, because the mob is pretty much toast after 1500+ from SC and then 1300+ from MB)
