i was looking at FFAH for anything sold on my character, and i came accross this ads

This taru in Alexander server
selling a kraken club plus 145mil o.O
Jobs: 75WAR, 75WHM, 75RDM, 75PLD, 75BST, 75RNG, 75NIN, 75MNK, 75BLM, 75THF, 75BRD, 75SAM, 67DRK, 7PUP, 2SMN

So far around $1,650 lol


I can't believe people are willing to pay for this amount of money on a virtual stuff lol...
 
He's an idiot. If he's gonna take that route... 140M will get you about $4,000 selling it to a site, and then he could get another $1,000 for his character w/ 5M gil.

If you're going to be dumb and sell your character, at least be dumb in a smart way.
 
1 mil is nearly $50 on IGE for Quetz at the moment.
x145 = $7250

Not to mention all the other sellables/seals. Do the maths =p

Ah, I was basing my prices on Mogs.com. $50? Damn. I might have to wander over there... <.<

I wasn't counting in seals/sellables. Was assuming those would be left on account, but yea... he could easily sell everything and still get $1000 for that account with Rare/Ex only.
 
Friend of mine once tried making a fake offer to an RMT site to see how much they'd *give* you for gil.

Suffice it to say that they sell it for about 4 times as much as they buy it for. Nice profit margin for them, but very dumb for you to sell to them. :P
 
All those jobs leveled and for rare/ex items he includes joyeuse, jelly ring, and the katana from ODS, lol. Merits look just as bad, he may have a ton of jobs, but none of them sound like anything worth writing home about. Or paying money for <_<
 
All those jobs, equip probably sucks for them all.
 
Who would buy an account now? especially with the possible implement of account retrieval coming. >.<
 
IGE wouldn't give a straight trade for money <<->> $$$. Just because they sell 1M for $50 doesn't mean they will give you $50 for 1M. That would be terrile business practice. They would probably give around $15-$20 for 1M.
