Look inside RMT "Gold Farms"

no sympathy for them at all, i dont care

they're monopolizing the economy and making it hard for players to have fun without buying the gil they steal from us
 
Just for the records, I didn't post this to spawn some sympathy feelings. I just thought it was an interesting video with regards to how IGE (and other brokers) fits in all this.

Heck from what the IGE guy says, they are actually HELPING them by making chinese boys earn 150$ a month rather then 100$.


Yeah.. right...
 
You have to love what they said "If you see a chinese gold farmer just give him room and understand his job" "We make our gold in a moral way". What a bunch of BS.
 
I don't think i've laughed as much in a long time after watching that. I found a "chinese goldseller" on WoW today. I was asked to help a group in Sunken Temple (I seem to get asked daily). I went and only one spoke english, they were awful players aswell, gimp gear and the typical RMT stylee. Needless to say I went through a pile of vanishing powder making them constantly wipe. In the end they left as all their armour was broke :)
 
To be totally honest, I couldnt care less if people played online games and sold the virtual money. But the shit I hate is them monopolizing NM's, HNM's and shit, keeping other players from earning these items. Thats complete BS. Why dont all the RMT just level THF, and go farm Gigas or something? Come on, leave the special monsters to people that need their items.

For fucks sake.
 
It simply ruins the game for everyone else to be quite honest. They've ruined certain aspects of mmo's, and thus have the capability to bring down servers altogether imo.
