Looking for 1 item from Sky

This is for all End-game LS leaders.

I would like to obtain a pair of A. Abj. Hands from Genbu. I am a 75 blm that enjoys sky but does not want to deal with the HNM scene at this time. I am just starting to merit my first job and would like time for that before I dive into a lot of end-game activities. I am willing to come help farm pops items for all gods, and be involved with the god fights themselves if needed.

Fafnir also drops them, but I have never fought a Wyrm before, but I would be willing to camp/fight if the option were available.

I would hope there would be a LS that would be willing to do this, but if not then will have to wait for them. Send me a pm or /tell in game, names Shmedly

I've heard people say that Genbu isn't all that difficult and that a regular old alliance could beat him. If it's true, you might not need to sell your soul to endgame slavery for a single pair of gloves. Maybe you could just get 17 friends of appropriate jobs.

Genbu is pretty easy, and you can buy the pop items/necessary winds from legit bazaars in and around Jeuno. Just get a full alliance to help you and you should be good. Gil item drops (if you get them) should be more than enough to pay off your friends and cover the cost of pop items.

hehe yeah a 6 man party can beat Genbu's ass might take a little longer but it's faster then trying to get into a sky shell and waiting. a hands are pretty popular and most shells have folks waiting on them.

Well... I thank you all for your input, but... A pick up party isn't going to beat down Genbu, buying the items from bazaars is retarded, and I don't know enough people level 75 to put together an alliance. Joining a sky shell... well it's never just sky, it's always Sky/HNM's/Sea/Limbus, or 15 other combinations of endgame activities. I was in a sky shell... I got nothing accomplished outside of Sky and camping HNM's. It was fun, but I got nothing else done. I've been playing for a year, got to 75 over 2 months ago and just earned my first merit this week... I don't want to deal with 10 different endgame activities. Dynamis, finishing CoP, farming, and helping friends is enough for the amount of time I have to play. Again I thank everyone for their input, and I guess I'll just have to wait.

If you want to join just a sky shell look into the sky shell I am in. We only do sky and pop NM and LS events. We don't deal with HNM's and the such. If you are intrested visit www.goldenchocobo.com, or speak to Aalea, or Tormknight iin game.

The A. hands abjuration is one of the most sought-after pieces from sky for mages. Some people wait many months in que to receive them. If the pickup party doesn't work, well . . .

I'm not sure if there is something between the yigit hands and a.hands, but assault only takes 3-6 people, and if you work at it for 3 weeks at 4 hours per week, you can own your own pair.

I don't know of any shell where all members wanting this item have attained it. Sorry, not trying to "bring down" your hopes.

You could also alternatively use Igqira Manillas (2 MAB like Yigit, but 5 Elemental skill instead of 5 INT, so better on resists but worse on potential damage).

Or, of course, there's always Morrigan, but I think even A.Hands are more accessible than that.

A pick up pt? You have friends, right? Unless your friends suck ass at ffxi you shouldn't have a problem, lol. Genbu has a lot of good drops that your friends could benefit from. m.hands for plds, genbu's kabuto for wars and other jobs, v.claw for gil for everyone or a SH for a friend in need, etc.

Pick up parties I don't trust. Yes I have friends but only a couple 75's.

Sorry, I thought there might be a LS out there that all their blm's had the gloves and the item was just being tossed if it dropped. My mistake.

lol, no ones going to really just hand them to you for free. you could possibly buy them off a shell though, maybe.

Go farm water at the pots with freinds. Zip tends to walk around alot with most rmt being banned out of sky and it actually working for the most part..
