Just wondering, as its a bit clouded in my mind atm and I cant seem to look it up online, does having higher fishing skill increase bite rates for higher level fish?

Thanks
Xer

No, as far as I can recall higher skill just means you have a better chance of realing in the fish and depleting the stamina bar.

Check out www.finalfishing.com

Well also if your fishing level is to low you will get the message
"this fish is beyond your level" when you reel it in even if you deplete stamina bar.

It actually does affect bite rate from higher lvl fish. When things are "out of your lvl", not only will you have a hard time bringing it in but you won't see much of them. As you approach that fish's lvl, you'll start to see more of them and have an easier time pulling in.

thats either the best news ive heard or a cruel joke by you :p
glad to know high level fishing does have a use. Because i've heard people complain about how level 0 fisherman can pull in high level fish, but i never knew if high skill level would mean higher bite rates.

thanks a lot!
Xer

A lvl 0 fisherman can't pull in anything remotely high lvl (unless they're bot'ing). I'm only lvl81, but from my experience, I've seen a much better bite and catch rate of black soles and grimmonites as I've been lvling.

ahh tyty. Well i think from sources if read ie Titanictus.com and Allakhazam, thats what people were complaining about. That with a bot, RMT are able to make hundreds of level 1 mules and fish money fish albeit slower, but still able to. Whereas for other crafts like smithing you wouldnt even be able to be successful.
