I've noticed that, aside from when I was playing Zelda, I really never use my Wii unless people are over.

When I have friends over, we use it like crazy: drunken bowling, drunken tennis, drunken WarioWare, drunken boxing, etc. I love all of those. Except drunken boxing. Sometimes it becomes real boxing.

When I'm alone and just looking for something to play, I find my Wii gets passed up 9 times out of 10.

Anybody know any good single-player Wii games? I've beaten Zelda, and most of Super Paper Mario already.

Thanks.

Are you including Gamecube games in your list of possibles? I was late picking it up, but I bought Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance a week or two ago and like it. As turn-based strategy games go, it's not bad.

I had a Fire Emblem for my GBA a long time ago and I really liked that. I'll check it out, thanks.

Resident Evil 4 ftw if you haven't played it already. Looong campaign game. seriusly took prolly 30 hrs first run through, then you unlock another 10hr min. bonus game on top of other minigames

Yeah, I own it for Gamecube and PS2 (I wanted the fancy metal box when the PS2 version was released.) I loved that game.

What else you got for the cube? There aren't many terrific single players out there for the wii yet so kinda taking a step back to see if there's anything that stands out in my collection (gc) i could recommend ^^

Yeah, that's what I thought.

As for the cube, I only have a few games. RE4, smash brothers, a Tony Hawk game, and something else.

If you haven't played the first Resident Evil remake for the gamecube.. GET IT. Play it at night with the surround sound I guarantee you'll have a helluva time. Also good was the Metroid series. I still haven't really touched the second but the first was fantastic. Tryin to think what else...

That Fire Emblem game I mentioned plays just like the GBA versions, but with pretty 3D graphics. I got it used for less than $10.

Yeah, I've played through every Resident Evil. Metroid too. Sweet games.

I'll check out GameStop on the way home from work.

Not to many good single player games out for the Wii yet. It's more of a party machine lol. You'll have to wait a bit for that.

Do you have a DS? I use that to pass the time.

I use my DS all the time. Pokemon Diamond and Mario Hoops ftw.

Nintendo's always had the best party console, but less in the single player area aside from the single-party developers. There isn't much single player action going on right now, but for multiplayer Wii is where it's at.

Do what I did. Go to www.play-asia.com and import Mr. Driller Drill Land for Japanese Gamecube. I love that game. It's also a rare find and has good collector's value--since Namco only recently reprinted it.

Game Cube:

Skies of Arcadia
Eternal Darkness
Tales of Symphonia
Beyond Good and Evil
Zelda and Metroid Prime games
Timesplitters 2
Pikmin 2
Viewtiful Joe
Killer 7
Paper Mario

That's a solid list right there (anyone wanna sell me their skies disc? ^^) . Haven't played killer 7 but wanted to. Eternal Darkness was sweet but very short and had no replay. Viewtiful Joe could've been a 10/10 from me if ONLY they had some save points >< I spent hours with this game, got as far as I could, only to die have to start all over from the beginning...

That was one of the best parts about Viewtiful Joe. It had that old-school side-scroller kick-your-assness to it. It's like, Gradius level difficulty. Fucking love it.

If you like running around and beating the crap out of everything and everyone, you should pick up; Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

It's even better if you're a fan of the comics.

It had a bit of replay value. You had to play through three times -- swearing allegiance to a different god each time -- to get the "true" ending.
