Looking to Start an RP

Hey all,

I hate RP cold turkey. Anyone seriously wanna start up a thread? My Chara Bio is posted below (it's my character from Shiva. As yet, I haven't developed a personality for my Quetz Taru Kelilli).

Name: Ophiel LaFayette

Age: 27

Race: Elvaan

Sex: Female

Main Job: Bard

Nationality: San d'Orian

Personality: While she is pragmatic and intelligent, she seems to avoid responsibility whenever she can, prefering to take things easy and play for money at the Lions Tavern. She may come across as shallow most of the time, since people don't ask too much of blondes, there are times when her wit and sarcasm give away her hidden qualities. She is powered by a fierce idealism and yet remains profoundly cynical of human nature. This inner conflict drove her to drink for a few years during her Monk career, but she has since given up the bottle and flourished in her new Bardic calling. There is a darker side of her personality that rarely comes across, however, one that she wishes to never ever let manifest.

Character Flaws: She may come across as judgemental and her conflicting personality traits may make her seem aloof and emotionally detached. Some people have trouble dealing with her occasional biting sarcasm and few understand her reasoning with her complexed layers of personality.

Back Story:

She leaned on the wall heavily, her rain-soaked kenpogi clung to her body. Through the dizzy afterglow of too many pints, she could see her arms hanging limply by her side. Already the rain was washing the crimson from her hands onto torchlit stones, she dimly watched the reddish rain water flow into a gully. But there was no blood. It was just the rain looking red in the light of a hissing, guttering torch. How can there be blood here and now... when it happened so many years ago?

She gagged and sank to her hands and knees, emptying her stomach of the rich dark ale. Funny how it looked alot more apetizing going in than coming out. Thoughts rose through her drunken fog like bubbles as she bent over the gutter. There was no, no thingy... whazzat thingy... red - blood! No blood at all asamatteroffact! She started giggling, how stupid she had been to think her hands were covered in blood. Her giggles faded eventually as the rain continued to roar around her.

No blood on her hands... but there might have been. She could still feel them tightening around the soft flesh, she could hear the choking, she could taste the rage in her mouth. She remembered letting go at the last minute, barely escaping the darkness that drove her to kill.

What a disgusting world. The more she thought about it the angrier she had become... She staggered onwards to her mog house, through the rain that made the very walls of San d'Oria weep silver tears. She had escaped it once, but would she ever be able to a second time? Best not to think at all. That way, there was no blood...
