Looks like Peregrine was right. Blm nerf.

Why is it BLMs fault? Easy, they gloat over thier abuse. Remember Odon's BLM Dynamis shell, sure, it didn't launch, but it was a gloat. The same thing happened to Rangers, and the only gloating Monks are the bandwagoners, who are extremely oblvious at the jobs faults.

That's it! A failed attempt at a different way to do Dynamus! Bring out the nerfers!!!

Seriously, if you considered that gloating, you need to switch out your grape juice, I think your's went sour.

Lest we forget that Odon "gloats" over clothcraft too.

DOWN WITH THE CLOTHCRAFTERS!!!!

LOL hypocrite? You talk of the job faults of mnk but act as though rng and blm don't have their own?

soon enough whm will be the main melee and warriors will be the best tank job! take that everyone! Ninja in back line whm for tanks and damage paladins for nuking! banish ftw!...

Odon's Ls is far from the only Manaburn dynamis. Many on other servers actually succeeded. Although the conept doesnt make much sense to me...they still need whm, nin, thf, rdm, and brds...why not just get a few others, would make it easier... /shrug

You know we're not the only server considered when SE implements a change, right? It's very possible(as in 100% likely) that it's because of manaburning being so huge on every server BUT ours that SE is making this change.

Did I say they didn't? Read too deep much?

I know they have thier faults, but since you want to bring it up; Monk isn't able to pull off as much damage in such a short time on an otherwise nuetral(unclaimed, unaggroed) mob as Ranger did, thus reducing their risk. Slug > Barrage > Slug > EES anyone? As well as sleep bolts, acid bolts, blind bolts, and Shadowbind for when things got stuffy. Not only that, the TP values given to the target due to that chain was significantly smaller than a damage spamming Monk could ever concievably do to maximize damage while keeping the target from weaponskilling into next week.

The risk a prenerf ranger had compared to a Monk is trite.

Umm, huh? I was responding to a comment that was insinuating that Odons Ls was liek the only manaburn dynamis ever, and that it failed. You just restated what I was saying lol. I wouldnt say manaburning dynamis are huge, since its a pretty retarded idea, but stuff like that obviously pisses SE off.

Not to mention, the only reason why Odon's attempt failed was because people never showed up, not because of the mechanics in how the shell operated.

SE flat out broke ranger.

lol, what i find interesting is that the 2 most pro nerf people here are monks. Could it be because perhaps monk will be the next biggest in demand job? I dunno, its pure speculation on my part (lol, just tryin to stir shit up, dont get overly upset)

Have you read any of what Skaw has said? Y'know, all those times he says he hates the bandwagon monks? The cause of bandwagoning is being the most in-demand job. And in case you missed the new QCDN policy, "just tryin to stir shit up" = flameboard only access.

Did you fucking miss the post where I said I'd welcome any nerf to monk to get the bandwagoners off my fucking job? Even if it happened before bandwagoning Monk got serious?

lol another monk who already spoke

fixed.

No, i didnt miss it. What i find amusing is it is the monks that are the most pro nerf people here. Its easy to say stuff, but if they ever crippled your job like they did rng, or perhaps blm, I'm not so sure you would be so happy about it.

ok, so excuse me, the 3 most pro nerf people here are monks (not 2 like previously stated). happy?

Why wouldn't I be happy about it? It's just a game. It's not like I designed the way the mechanics work and told Square not to touch it.

Again, I never played Monk to be the be-all-end-all damage solution, as it was never thought of it back when I was leveling, hell, even well after I got to 75 it wasn't.

Doesn't matter to me if those days return.

Off topic, Pomp, change the fucking title, that whackjob will never be right.
