Damn right, that was fucked up, I really liked Faraday.

Here's hoping Ben gets it this season too, I'm amazed how no one just puts a bullet between his eyes.
 
Ben is the best character on the show, imo. he is ALWAYS interesting....kill one of the boring ones like Kate or Jack prz.
 
Faraday was easily in my top 3 favorite characters and I was so pissed when I found out he was going to die, would rather it of been kate and jack so that way the fucking love quad can die.

She does what she was meant to but it wasn't explained why, not yet any way. I can't imagine why she would want to send him back after pushing him so hard to be the best if she knows her past self is going to end up killing him anyway.

Either way, it really sucks. I liked Faraday a lot.

My theory is that she knows that the island wants John Locke to be there for the battle that is coming. If Faraday had been able to prevent Flight 801 from crashing, then Locke would never have made it to the island. During Season 6 I think we're going to see another group seeking to find/control the island, those people who ask "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" This group could be a group that inhabited the island prior to Richard Albert's "Others" gaining control, or they could be a second wave of Dharma Initiative members coming to take the island back or they could be a group that we have yet to learn about. I think that Ben and Widmore knew that this group was coming eventually and they are/were fighting amongst themselves to be in control of the island when the shit hits the fan.

I have been really thinking about this and why pushing him so hard was so important. Then having him die like he did. The only thing I could come up with and that makes sense to me is so they could get his journal in the past. It must have alot of stuff in there they need.

If you remember she bought him that same journal at his graduation.

Bah, fuck Faraday who cares.

The biggest mistake Lost ever made was to kill off Mr. Eko I LOVED watching him lay the smack down on some others with his Jesus stick.
 
The LOST Producers never wanted to kill of Mr. Eko, but he asked to be taken off the show when both of his parents died....

I watched the last episode on the computer and did not see any previews for next week until just now. Scratch what I just said lol.
 
Yeah, so who thought the Hurley scene was hilarious? So what's everyone's predictions for the season finale? I'm guessing that Locke/Ben finally meet with Jacob and he turns out to be the smoke monster.

I doubt Jack will do anything with the H-bomb, seeing as how things still are not changing in the future. Someone will probably die, maybe Miles or Locke?

Locke telling Richard to help his past self was great, I could only imagine 2 Locke's running around the island, always talking about how the island is telling them what to do.

One more season after this, can't believe it's been this long.

Am I the only one that think maybe Jack will set off the bomb and that is the "Event/accident" that they have been talking about this whole time?
 
I know it might be a crazy idea but what if the "incident" was actually caused by detonating the A-bomb and not just drilling into the electromagnetic chamber like they originally thought. So in the end by trying to change the past they are just doing what destiny had planned all along. Thats just the kind of mindfuck that they would pull on Lost.

My predictions are that the locke on the island right now IS the smoke monster(like when the smoke monster turned into Alex, with ben). That is just more of a hope to see a Smoke monster vs. Jacob super fight =p.

Didn't the smoke monster try to kill Locke in one episode? If so why would he try and kill himself? Then again who knows why anything happens on that island.

It did for sure try to pull him into a hole, but that was also the episode that he said for Jack to just let him go because he was not scared. Hmmm, now you got me thinking Auron.
 
A better question is how is Locke going to kill Jacob if he doesn't have a body? I mean no one has ever seen his body so how can you kill him.

Also what the hell happened to Bernard and Rose? My personal crazy theory is that they are the two skeletons that they found in the first season buried in that cave.
