LOST (couldn't find the other LOST thread)

SOOOOOOO excited!! Tonight is Sun and Jin's episode....my "Oceanic 6" picks have always been Jack, Kate, Hurley (those were givens) Sayid, Sun and Jin. If they make it off the island tonight JENDER WINS LOST!!!! ;P lol

Here is a article that made me all excited and tingly today : http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20183737,00.html?xid=email-alert-lost-20080313-item1 (kinda spoilerish re: Michael...but it is a theory that you all have prob. already had by now anyway - so may not be spoilery to most of yall)

Ten bucks says the reason why that lady jumped into the water with a chain vest was because there's another station underwater.

Edit: Also, Jender loses Lost, Jin is dead. =D

Though I guess he still could have made it back to America before dying... who knows..

That was really, really clever on the shows part with Sun having flashforward scenes, and Jin having flashback scenes.

It looks like the tombstone marks the date of death as 9/22/04, the day of the crash. Jin isn't part of the Oceanic Six, but he could still be alive still on the island, or something. Sun might have just gone to the grave because it's spiritually the closest she can get to him?

Hi, my name is Kevin Johnson.

I don't think Jin is dead...I think he is alive but didn't make it off the island. EVERYONE on Oceanic 815 would have had a tombstone because the rest of the world thought that they had all died in the crash (as reported). They mentioned that friends and families had already grieved the deaths of people on the island.

I don't think Hurley would have said "Wow she looks like Jin" in a happy tone (like he did) if he was bringing up the kid's dead father. It would have been a sadder, more mourning-like tone. Sun can "miss" Jin and be just as sad if she knew he was on an island that she couldn't get to - it would be like he was dead - but I bet they reunite before the end of the series.

And I won lost better than you all so far w/ my picks ;P 5/6 aint bad. <3

HOW COOL IS MICHAEL NOT BEING MICHAEL ANYMORE!?!?!?! I wonder what the coordinates that Ben sent him on actually led him to. It looks as if he has memory loss the way Desmond did - the question now is - where the F is Walt???

Walt has a lot of mystery surrounding his character at this time. I think he has something to do with Jacob and is somewhere with Jacob now that the cabin has disappeared.

From the previews to next week, it looks like Michael is just using the alias of "Kevin" because Sayid obviously knows who "Kevin" really is, and you could see the expression on Michael's face that he knew Sayid.

How could you guys tell that Jinn was dead? I assumed that he faked his death, because he was rushing to get to the hospital to give a baby this panda..when the baby was the Chinese Ambassador's baby and not Sun's

Also the fact that he is working with Sun's father, I would think the dad told Jinn that he needed to fake his death or w/e cause Sun doesn't want Jinn workin for her dad.

well 1) Jinn loves Sun and wouldn't do that to her and 2) Jinn said that he has only been married for 2 months so either he really is dead or he is just still on the island and he just had a tombstone made for him.

You're getting mixed up.

The scenes of Jin buying the panda and giving it to the ambassador's wife/baby as a sign of business from Paik was a flashback, taking place before they arrived on the island.

Suns scenes with the birth and the tombstone of Jin were flashforwards, where Sun had made it off the island, but Jin's current status is unknown.

The show made it look like both of them made it off the island and both were flashforwards, but it was only revealed at the end that they were in two different timeframes.

I personally think he would still be alive on the island, and was not one of the Six to make it off.

Theory: Ben sent Alex, Carl, and Rosseau to the temple so that his people would kill Carl and Rosseau. The person who shot Carl and Rosseau was obviously a marksman and could easily have shot and killed Alex when Carl was shot and killed if they had wanted to.

Yeah, they didn't even shoot at Alex - I think it was a set up by badass Ben...damn I love that guy. He has perfected EVIL, so fun to watch. <3

What a great episode! I am sorry, but I have always felt badly for Michael. If I had a kid on the island who was kidnapped by the natives, and I was told they were "running tests" on him - I'd have killed the entire camp if strangers to get him off, if they had asked me too. Eveyone was like "What a jerk" Oh COME ON! I am not saying that murdering is the answer (obviously) but he didn't know these people - and if you remember, Ana Lucia basically tortured he and Jin and Micheal after the raft excursion (and LIBBY was clearly an accident). If they had been holding my husband hostage - I pretty much would have done whatever to set him free. And now- his son hates him for it. Michael is so the saddest character in LOST ><

Also....he WANTS to die...maybe he is in the coffin afterall?

Huge necro but I don't really give a shit. That season finally was so amazing. It was action packed straight from the beginning, revealed huge mysteries, and created even more. =( Now we have to wait god knows how long till it comes back!

Anyone found any easter eggs on the global recruiting site yet? it keeps crashing on me. LOL

The season finale got me LOST at the end... but it was awesome! How the heck did "the guy at the coffin" get out of the island? But at least all is not LOST, because Desmond is happy! ^^

"Coffin dude" is the new Ben on the island (which is why he had an alias in his Obit - remember how Ben could leave the island - along w/ select Others like Mr Friendly and Richard...Ben also had all kinds of different names on passports, etc) I guessed it right at the end....I was like - WAIT....*** is the new leader...and he moved the island AFTER Ben gets off (and Ben stated that he can "never come back") so *** is the only one who knows where the island is now. Hence Jack freaking out and trying to commit suicide...he was his only way back?

Though I think there has to be another way back - they won't torture us and leave everyone miserable when all is said and done....i hope ; ;

I am still not convinced that jin is dead since we didn't SEE it - but it may just be the denial talking <3

FREAKING GREAT season!!!!

Just wanted to say incase anybody else didn't catch what happened to Ben after he turned the wheel.

He had that parka on, a cut on his arm, and turned the wheel - island lit up, island goes poof and disappears. But what happens to Ben? If you remember in the episode "The Shape of Things to Come", Ben's flashforward episode, he wakes up in the middle of the desert with the same parka on, the same wound, and he is very startled. He was slingshotted through time after he finished turning the wheel and ended up later in 2005.

Jen is head on with the Jin is not dead theory. I don't believe it either, he must've jumped at the last moment. Faraday is "near" with the raft full of unknown people, so they can get Jin on the way to the exploded boat.

Good eye there Ele, I completely ignored that flash-forward of Ben. It makes total sense now. If he was slingshotted thru time, that will give him time to prepare his payback.

I was talking about the season finale with my friend-workmate and I said some things to which she replied with a very interesting theory. She said: when Ben moved the island, maybe he didn't move it in space... but in time. If the island moved 1 day, 1 week or 1 month forward that will buy enough time for people to go their way before the island reappears at the same spot.

ps - If it was only a few hours to a day forward, that could give hope to Faraday (and Jin, if he found him) returning to the island. But this is only speculation.
