I have camped this NM for hours, and everytime it pops it is darksday and it doesn't drop. I camp it as 61 thf/war to try and keep hate off of whoever i can talk into going with me as i can't solo it, not even close.

Anyone with this bow that could tell me how many kills they had to do to get it, also claims of it dropping adaman ore, all i ever get is iron, darksteel, mythril... all i really want is the bow, but a decent door prize would make not getting the bow settle easier.
 
I'm currently 0/7 on that Bow.....
I have pretty much given up on it.
It wouldn't be as bad if it would pop every 2 hours or so....
......But no, SE makes it a lottery pop so you can just kill Antica there for hours and hours.
I've seen it not pop after 8 hours of constant killing of its placeholders.
So all I can say is... Good Luck to you buddy.
 
0/7 >,< man, i suppose i shouldn't complain as i have killed it only half as much... but yes the long spawn time is part of the reason after 3-4 hours people i have with me are usually ready to go, as i am to be honest... do you remember if it only spawned on darksday for you or is that just a random thing i have experianced so far? also in your 7 kills did adaman ever drop? thanks for all the info

ok, just killed it again, it does infact drop adaman ore, i should becareful what i hope for all i really want is the stupid bow, which it didn't drop >,<
 
out of all 7 kills I only saw Adaman drop once.......
I don't remember if he only spawned on darksday though.
I never did check on the day.
All I know that he is a stingy bastard!
 
the bow shoots arrows odon.... Lol j/k man, from what i read it is really good for balista which is something i am considering doing soon, also good for any application where spammin sleep arrows ie needed. delay is only 120.

i am curious as to lvl of the pt also, because he is a mean mother, and has brought me close to death several times, but this is the kinda stuff i always read... people get it easy then i want it and can't get it... was there even a rng in your pt?

Sleep arrows aren't "needed" it's just a cheap trick people use to ruin the fun. Any ranger or samurai who thinks it's a valid tactics is just a weenie.
 
not using sleep arrows for ballista, using them to solo something a rng couldn't solo straight up, kinda like gravity+ dot's from a rdm.. if that makes me a weenie, i guess imma proud weenie.....
 
i loves me sleeper bolts for ballista. i shoots em, and they stops, so my partner ranger can barrage them with a Gun ^_^

i'm 2/4 on loxley bow drops, i got it on my first try for myself
helped stigmatas get his, we were 1/3 (he got it on the 3rd try)

i had a thf w/ me for mine, and the two times i killed it with stig devi was with us and it didn't drop, the NM said something about taru TH2 too weak or something, anyway when stig went for it again that night it dropped
 
I am going to go back to killing it with my Thf, killed it again lastnight, went as rng to skill up axe a bit, 63 is only 20K away and axe skill is horrible >,< but the drops we got were horrible compared to when i kill it with TH2, we got 2 iron ores... still no bow, but i am gonna stick with it. i think the bow should drop easier considering it is rare/ex, is not like it's worth anything, which does make camping it a breeze i have yet to see someone else there.
