I was just browsing the LS Forums (The LS Directory Sticky particularly) and noticed a lot of the stuff is out of date. I wanted to check on the possibility of getting all the inactive shells removed from the sticky and trying to track down information on new shells and shells that may have changed focus. Thanks!

Nominating yourself to git 'er done?

Good luck with that. The directory is great in theory, but not as good in practical application IMO. You have too many linkshells coming and going, linkshell leaders/contacts change, shell purpose/targets change... It just seems that you'd be spending all your time trying to run people down to try to get them to update something that, if they cared, they would have updated in the first place.

Japan doesn't have Internet yet.

I'll give her some time if she wants to post in here, if not I can do it myself if one of the mods wants to post it once I've complied the info.

Well, to cut down some work for whomever takes over the LS Directory..

SUDynamisMiscreants has changed leadership and their name to Dynamis Heretics. So yeah, I'll talk to people about updating or w/e.

OK looks like I'll be the man for this job. I've hit a snag in time available this past few weeks because the first round of testing is drawing near, but I'll get to working on it. Expect the list to be going and fixed by mid October at the latest.

Right... infact the original concept of the game was "Final Fantasy XI on LAN" it become "Final Fantasy XI online" when someone started smuggling tcp/ip packets by a notebook :P

Anyway back to the topic the directory is outdated but also the links are broken probably pointing to an old structure of a prev version of qcdn (missing the /ffxi folder in the url)
