****, I hate Aht Urhgan!

Does anyone ever have the problem, when they talk to an NPC their game freezes or lags and takes a looooooooong time for the NPC to say anything also you can't move or select anyone as a target . . . but you can move the camera around so basically you have to reset the game D: or system if you're on PS2(moi) and have to wait for the loading screen, yada yada . . . .

ARGH, so annoying! Does anyone get this problem? Just incase it doesn't but you read this anyways! . . . what annoys you ? (other then the fact people complain and make these stupid flames for no reason, because that's a giving but what else?)
 
Aht Urhgan is the new Jueno crammed into one. It will always lag. I had the thing of waiting 10 seconds fo a response from a NPC. I feel you on this, though i never had to reset my shit before.

yes, this happends to me often, thats why i try to avoid whitegate as much as possible

The problem is, they ushered in an easy way to get from the major middle lands cities to Whitegate, but no one wants to leave the Besieged region because of an utterlack of besieged messages outside of it.

So why leave if you're going to miss out on Besieged?
 
I'd go to Lower Jeuno, but that is pretty much the asshole of Vana'Diel now. People shout the dumbest shit and I'm examined by the same 3 people every 5 minutes.

That is a rearded argument.
We have a freakin aht urgan conquest map SHOWING exactly how close we are to a beseiged occurring as well at the basic attacking/advancing status of a beseiged. if you're too retarded to take 1-2 seconds to check that then it's your own goddamned fault for missing beseiged.
How many hours do you see the forces building up before one and then use ignorance as an excuse for information readily availiable not being know to you?
 
I've had to reset my ps2 3 times so far from the lag in Whitegate..sometimes it takes a minute or longer, I get aggravated and reset. One time was at the Jeuno/Home Nation Port NPC, another was at the armor storage NPC, starting to piss me off, but it's my fault for being on ps2, I'm going to switch to 360 one of these days though.
 
I hate Aht Urhgan too! While lfp I often stay in my home nation or Tav. safehold just so I don't have to put up with the lag while shopping. And yes, the damn doors!

90% of the participants(at least) in besieged join on a whim, "ooh, besieged is starting, I'll go!" Very few people actually keep track to plan to attend besieged, not many have nothing to do so they keep track of the besieged counters.
 
If I'm gonna join Besieged on a whim, that whim is just as likely to be spurred by my being in Whitegate and seeing a notice, as it is by my happening to type /bmap out of boredom. If I'm *doing* something, then I'm not joining either way. And if I'm not doing something, well, Besieged is something to do so it's not like it's a huge hardship to type /bmap to see if I'm in for some entertainment.

And personally I stay out of Whitegate unless I have a very specific reason to be there. It only costs me a warp to Sandy (if I'm not already there to begin with), and 300 gil, to get there on a whim. And Sandy (or Safehold, or even Jeuno) is a *lot* less laggy.
 
I try to avoid whitegate as much as possible with the new teleports I can keep my hp in sandy now. Making things alot easier. I think they should give the final besiege msg when they break though into the city in conquest areas tho maybe but really ppl can just look on map

Yeah, but map is a little delayed from what the actual status is.

Protip: Quit using percentages in your posts if you want people to take you seriously. You make them up way too often.
 
I shop in Jeuno cause the tax rate is so much better on selling things. So I dont see why ppl want to congregate at that AH. Call me cheap but hell I'm saving gil little by little and I need all I can get lately with farming kinda sucking...but that's enough of that small rant.

I stopped hanging in Aht Urhgan after they introduced that 3 cities warp for 300 gill. So worth it. I used to be worried about not getting invites to parties for Aht Urghan because I was in Jeuno or another city, but realistically if the party leader has any brain, he or she will (like Khajit so "eloquently" stated) use the /search resource that is available to them and find me.
 
The doors of doom? Yeah, sometimes I had to wait a minute or two for the npc's CS or chatter to start, but never had to restart system or the game, if you just wait it out a bit, it'll load, unless you end up waitin 10 minutes or something XD

That's how it is with me. Either than or if someone in my LS says "Oh besieged is starting." Then if I'm bored I'll go join them.
