I just picked myself up a new keyboard, which has the "MAC" style.

After setting it up, I noticed that the "Print Screen" key is actually marked "F13". I figured it would still work the same. Apparently it doesn't.

I have googled this a little bit, but i'm finding it difficult to sift through the various forums and questions about this to get a specific answer, and was hoping someone here might be able to help considering that my main concern with no longer having the "Print Screen" button is also FFXI related.

Basically, i'd like to find out how to program my F13 key to act as the "Print Screen" key. I'd like to be able to use it so that I can take in-game screenshots when playing FFXI with windower.

Hope that this makes sense and that someone might be able to offer some insight.

Thanks in advance!

Apparently the Alt button is no longer where it should be either....

I've been googling and it seems like I can download various programs to re-assign keys, but I can't seem to figure out the programs i've found. Anyone ever done something similar and have some links/instructions they can share?

alot of the newer keyboards have driver disks with them. does that one? if so, have you tried it?

Unfortunately it didn't come with any manual or disc. (I didn't understand the no manual thing, usually there's some kind of instruction/warranty paper that comes with the product)

I did eventually find a program called SharpKeys which was able to re-assign the keys I needed, however it doesn't seem to recognize the change when I play FFXI (with windower).

I haven't been able to find anything else to try, so I think in the end i'll just have to get used to the new key setup. ><

Thanks though for the suggestion.
