Well since everyone tries to have fun with there macros one time or another, why not have a post for you to tell us what were some of your favorites.

One of the funniest Ive seen was....

<Ready To Start Skill Chain> Donkey Punch In 3 Seconds!!!
 
Sorry, the only macro that i have a /p line in is my BLM sleep one.

One of my little pet peeves is excessive /p lines in macros, so much that I use none in my own ones :)
 
My promy berserk macro is "RAWR I R TEH MADZS! {Berserk}!", and defender macro is "ZOMGZ IT HURTS AHH! {Defender}!"
 
Yeah, I think we are all in agreement that the long and or frequent /p messages get a little obnoxious. In a dunes party, we had a guy who was
...ugh... voke-pulling and he had a message in his voke macro.


I try to keep mine down to a dull roar. Most of mine are:
<Tachi: Jinpu> ====> <t>
That sort of thing. I do have a meditate and a warding circle one.
So far nobody complained but maybe they were being nice.


Meditate:
<Samurai><Meditate> Ooooohm Ooooohm!

Warding Circle:
This house is... clean. (little funny Poltergeist lady)

My just screwing around macro (after a dangerous kill and we survive.)

/hurray motion
I do this one very rarely.

Everything else is empty of chatter. You'll all thank me for NOT having
any /p messages in my Third Eye macro.


emote macros are entertaining as long as you don't spam them.
A lot of people seem to like my beer tossing macro. I try to keep that
down as much as possible so it doesn't get old fast.
/em hands a Semi-Imported Duff-Lite to <t>. "OH YEAH!!!"

In general I "try" to stay away from /p comments in macros but I actually have one for several of my PLD macros but I ask the pt usually if they want me to tone it down, and I just make them error lines by adding an extra / to the beginning...

Voke: Hey <t>! I forgot to pay yo' momma for last night!
Flash: Naked {Galka} time! {Flash}
WS: {Ready to start skillchain!} {skill name} <tp> <call4>

Other macros:
/sh I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United Nation of Bastok
/wait 1
/sh and to the Republic for which it stands. One nation, under Altana,
/wait 1

(that one was great to spam in Sandy ^^)

The only things I have in /p is my {Monk}TP = % report and {Ready to start skillchain} macros. Oh and I'll make sure that Provoke is in party chat so, on those rare instances, I have proof when somebody wants to claim I wouldn't Provoke. I've thought about personallizing macros even more to where I just send my skillchain partner /tell through the macros (if that is possible) to keep him informed on my Tp and just have a /p {Ready to start skillchain} when it is primed.

Used to have a whole macro pallatte, but my comp got deleted and didn't go through the trouble. Almost all of my functions have /p comments. No one has bitched at me yet, so they're there, lol. I even have a
"<pet>'s TP= <pettp> Ready to MB!" one for when I MB.

No one's ever complained about mine but those are the only ones I have in party. I hated partying with one Monk in Qufim because he used Boost every time the recast time was up and his macro was :

/p 0MFG IVE GONE WILD!!!!!!!!%#%!$#^%$@$%$#$!$% GET READY TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!#%$!#%$%^^!#$%

[no exaggeration on how long those extra symbols were.. -.-]
 
Most of my real macros are {Provoke} >> <t> TP = <tp> and {Sentinel} >> {Defense Bonus} > Me
 
I dont like to spaminate /p chat but i do like to be a little tacky and have phrases. Therefore most of my macro phrases are done in /echo. Of the ones I use in /p...

/p TP: <tpp>! <'))l<

thats the doom fish.

/p [Souleater]! HP <hpp> and falling!

Usually its around 90% when i happen to use this so its kinda cool.

/p >l(('> [Found it!] <t> <'))l< <call14>

More doom fishies. Also, call14 is the best call EVER. All your party ever needs is a quick jingle to pay attn, not a HUGE FIRE ALARM WHISTLE OMG PULLING! If you use call0-3 in your pull macro i hate you and want you to die. thx. I actually get serious full on migranes in about an hour of partying with a whistle abuser. I have to turn my speakers completely OFF, since theres no way to filter the call sound, and at that point i might as well just go to sleep because no sound makes the game really boring.

My bard macros were really long one liners but they are all in /echo now.

/echo ~*Song of love*~ ballad
/echo ~*A tune to quicken the pace*~ march
/echo ~*A melody to guide the sword*~ madrigal
and so on.

Something i usually do is single target spells that are cast only on one person (etudes, prelude) I'll just put their name right in the macro and change it real fast on the way to camp to put the current name in.

/ma "Hunter's Prelude" Bobtaru
/echo Prelude for RNG
/recast "Hunter's Prelude"

This makes it real fast and I dont have to target the guy since he's in the spellname. I have 2 prelude macros (ctrl+9 and alt+9) so if i have 2 rng i can still not have to target.

I gotta say the [skillname].orz had me rofl irl.
 
I heard of a rdm that had a Marco that freaked everyone out. I think it was like...

This gave the entire pt a heart attack. One time, I even did it once and everyone "OMGF, OH SHIT" and ect.
 
Yes I remember playing with a rdm with a similar macro.
I mean people get scared even without the macro >< This is just torture lol
