Macro Help

[Orinna]

I'm trying to find the file that ffxi saves the macros in so I can switch them to any pc I use. I currently use my pc at home and 2 different ones at work to play and was wondering if this is even possible. Thanks if anyone can help.

You can, the path should be playonline\SE\FFXI\User and the folders in there are for each character you have. If you copy those folders to another computer it should preserve your macros. The actual macro palettes are named mcr1-9.dat and mcr.dat; so if you want a specific macro palette you should be able to pick which ones you want to keep.

Thanks so much!

I know it's a bit late but I blogged something on this topic several years ago so I hope this helps you or any others.

Specifically, the macros are the MRC.files.
