Ya......there's another one! /sigh
Anyways, my fiance (we both play ffxi on different accounts) gave me money and asked me to go get Madden 2006 for him. I HATE THIS FUCKING GAME!!!!!!!!! Because 1) he doesnt play FF as much 2) i dont like football 3) Another one comes out by the time you get to the fuckin store to buy the current one!! So I just felt like venting a little. I never understood why they have to have THE SAME GAME with like barely nothin new on it EVERY YEAR (the year ahead to be precise ^^)
And yes, Im sure you guessed I am female!
But my fiance and I are saving up to go on vacation and is gonna get this goddamn game from hell.

I went to Blockbuster and they said my best bet was to come back at 11:45pm tonight....Uh, No! he can get his own goddamn game!

Hows this, instead of having to buy the game, I'm selling it tonight at midnight. Jebus, the freaking line is going to be insane, working at a game store sometime screws you over, Madden is expected to be as big as Halo 2 night in our area. I think we recieved somewhere around 100 copies for each console, and they're expected to go within 2 days. Then I have to open the store tomorrow and sell any copies that weren't reserved, on a solo shift. I wish I could call in sick today.... :cry:
 
Madden is the best sports game out. year in and year out they tweak an already great and add the little things that make it stand out. from year to year the novice gamer can't tell the difference, but just look at 2003, compared to 2005 and you will notice the difference.

Madden is the reason i even have a PS2, and will be the reason that i buy a PS3. every year there are roster changes that need to be updated into the game, and i've heard a couple new features added.

And when you go pick up your husbands copy, i think he'd like some beer and some nachos, so go ahead and pick those up to.

It's football time again!!!! :D

I thought that this year was the last for Madden.. hmm.. oh well.. I was never a big fan of sports games XD

come on, why do they keep on making thse..? its football (american), go play it outside... go get friends, and play it outside... why must people play it on a PC when you can play in in real life? :x its almost as dumb as... well, no, sports games ARE the worst games ever. i'll stick with pong thank you...

goooo bucs! And madden is a kick ass game...lol ive got '02-'05 sitting by my x-box...only game that even comes close to my play time on ffxi :P
 
But my fiance doesnt keep his old Madden games. He doesnt put them on the shelf to play later because he knows another will be coming out. He got 2005 and within like 2 months he simply traded it in for something else. After I stood in line for 1.5 hours to get it for him. He has had every one of them and at the moment he doesnt have one. So I just think its dumb to spends all that money on something he will only trade in when another game he wants comes out.

And Zoo, he is a huge Bucs fan too!!

You know what... I'm not one to be angry... or upset or use profanity.... but my friggin' god!!!! Madden, that son of a bitch made me stay up until past 2am at work to give out his stupid game....

The story...

I work at EB games.. I have for awhile now and Madden night was my first night to do a midnight release for a game. (stupidest thing evar... if it were advent children then yes I can see a midnight release for the best movie of greatness fun.. anyways) Our store was expecting about 300+ people. ewww... peoplez... My manager thought it'd be nice to order pizza and drinks for our peoples to eat while waiting in a well established orderly line. 11:45 rolls around, and we all start feeling the pressure. As midnight tolls, Our store is bum rushed. All order seems nonexistant as the masses pour into our store to pick up Madden 2006. I won't go into detail but to sum it all up. I was cussed at repeatedly, pizza and soda ended up all over our store and outside in the mall hall, people were about to riot, and the police were called. It was great. (not really...) I guess I can't blame Madden for what happen.. but I think his game sucks anyways. The last Madden I played was for 96' on my good ol' genesis.. and that game was cool. Sonic did a little dance with a flag whenever you got a touch down.. all right! ~_~; speaking of which I have to go into work in less than an hour.. baby jesus is crying
 
Screw Madden and the abundance of horseshit plays. I bought the 2005 version last year and sold it back after ~2 months. I'll keep roster updating my copy of NFL 2k5 and save myself the $50.
 
Yeah, starting on the 2005 versions of Madden you can just get the current rosters right of the internet the second there's a change (assuming you have xbox live of course). Thats what I do. Madden 2005 is probably the last one I'm buying for a while.

Oh, and Go Eagles! :lol:
