Ive read of a few new features such as:

- New footwork feature, its not just like instant turns at full speed

- New AI, which after going through a few drills, it adjust the difficulty settings according to how good or bad you are, and if your skill increase/decrease, it changes accordingly.

- A couple bullshit features like rewind. (This is crap). If you blow a play u can rewind and try again, thats a piece of shit.

- Some new celebrations, and new one handed catches, a couple flashy things.

Nothing out of this world so far, thoughts?


PS. Please dont move this to Multi Platform, Madden on anything other than 360 is fail

Ya see, by posting this, now everyone will be focused in on it. And if you think Madden isn't fail on the 360 too, then you are sadly mistaken. 3 years of shit games. Can we make it 4?
 
Why would someone play Madden 2009 when they could play the vastly superior game of Madden '95.

Best Football game ever is still Tecmo Bowl for NES
 
Fuck that. Did you ever play the Mutant League games on the Sega? That was a kickass football game and hockey game.

I loved hockey and still own the cartridge for it, so i know its that, lol. I've never seen the baseball one.
 
i will probably get madden 09. i do, however, feel bad for favre being thrown into the pits of the madden curse. just as people thought it wouldnt have effected him, he comes out of retirement...

here comes his final retirement due to injury
 
Lol i just picked this up at my store, it came early. Got it last night. It is definitely an improvement in the "Little Things" from last years version
 
I've been playing my copy since last night. Decent improvements and might actually be worth my $60.
 
What's the best modern football sim out? I've never been big on those games. I used to buy every year's game for all of the franchises but never played them more than 5 minutes. All I know is Madden sucks.
 
A sign at my work says something about getting a fully playable version of Madden 93 with preorder or purchase or something to that effect.
 
i got a copy of this tonight, it did have madden 93 on it tho i didnt try it out, im not a sports game fan, and i now have 2 sports games in my played games list, the first one was for achievements and i never even hardly played it, fight night 3, and i got madden just to see if it was something maybe me and some friends could play when we are bored...i dunno tho, im not a football fan (or any sport for that matter) so i never know what the hell is going on in this game,
its easy achievements i guess, put me over 40k in gamerscore now, i like the music tho lol.
I guess its a preference game, ill keep it around for some possible fun with friends. I cant base what i think about the game in comparison to others since the only football game i ever liked was Blitz on nintendo 64, so i guess being my first time playing a madden game it was pretty cool.
Cool features like Rewind and i like how the playbacks are like watching a real football game with highlighting players to show where the action took place.
 
i agree with chasym. the music is a great all around mix of different variety. i have fallen into the problem that seems to be plaguing alot of people. this problem is the game freezing when trying to go into the lobby. more than likely a server issue with too many people. i was getting in fine soon after i picked up the game, but today...forget it.

this version of madden, i am doing much better than i have in any other version. normally, on new titles, i am 0-5 before getting a win. so far, im 2-0. i was ranked 384 as of last night, but that is before other people picked up the game. and since ive been at work, i wouldnt possibly keep up. however, i am in the low 1000's still.

on a side note, i love the little things they put in such as endzone celebrating. not to mention, the feel of the player your controlling when your off to the races to the endzone.
 
I pay attention to little things, i still dont like the way some players run, its awkward. And all the Tight Ends are fat, players like Vernon Davis, Kellen winslow, look like fatasses running around
