Time To Announce.. -Part 1-

Auberjeen walked down the crowded street in Jeuno, pulling her ragged cape further around her. God, it was frigid out here. She watched her breath fog in front of her and cursed softly. The Elvaan monk passing next to her looked over, startled.
"Eeeerr, sorry, wasn't aimed at you." she blushed and watched the monk disappear into the crowd ahead of her. Ah well, She would probably never see him again anyways.
She turned into the San d'Oria airship dock, rushing down the stairs to the loading area. She quickly paid her fee, and saw the ship getting ready to leave.
"Dammit! Hold up!" she yelled as she started sprinting across the docks, dropping her cape in her haste, and leaped across the water to the departing ship, narrowly avoiding a dip in the icy waters. Panting, she leaned back against the wall, sliding down with her legs sprawled in front of her.
"Thank Altana.." she said aloud, her eyes closed from fatigue. She flopped her head to the side and cracked her eyes open to find the same Elvaan monk from before staring at her. Her lips pressed together as a snicker of laughter rose in her throat. Suddenly she burst out laughing, amused by the tricks of fate. He shook his head, his brows burrowed in a disapproving state, and walked further into the ship, leaving her laughing her head off.
As she caught her breath, her stomach began to rumble. Damn, she needed some good grub. As she thought of the meal awaiting her, she began to noticably drool, drawing even more attention to her unsightly state. There would be all sorts of meat and vegetables, and the desserts.. oh man, what time was it? Remember her rush, she jumped up, and brushed herself off. She'd be toast if she was late again. She needed to know the time, to see what the damage would be. She looked down at her arm.. and the watch was not there. Of course. She had forgotten to put it on in her rush to get ready.
Sighing, she headed up to the deck. Surely someone would have the time. When she got to the top, she stopped and inhaled deeply. The air was so much more pure up here than down below on the grounds of Vanadiel. The sky was brighter and the clouds were fluffier. The pollution from living didnt reach this far up.
Right, the time. She walked over to a mithra standing by the side of the ship and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Excuse me.. do you have the KRIS!"
"What, what I didn't do it!" the Mithra jumped in surprise, and turned to see her comrade smile.
"Well, hello, seems we'rrre both rrrunning a bit late Aub." Krismorel smiled at Auberjeen, and leaned easily against the side of the ship, her tail twitching casually behind her.
"Where have you been, I haven't seen you in ages!"
"Herrre and therrre.. I'm usually in Konschtat killing all the sheep."
"Oooh yea, you make sheep leather. Don't you have your own business going on now?" Kris burst out laughing at Aub's question and shook her head.
"No no, nothing like that. I get plenty of customerrrs at the Auction House."
"Last time I heard from you, you were pulling in quite a profit to fund your white mage expeditions."
"Yea, white mage can be harrrd, but I love it. Plus, the cloaks make me look damn cute." The mithra grinned devilishly, displaying her new form fitting cloak with her hands. Aub laughed with her, and brushed the hair back from her face.
"You know, I had a reason to talk to you in the first place.. oh right, the time. Do you have it Kris?"
"Surrre do." she checked her wrist quickly, then looked back up at Aub. "It's 14:21, Iceday, but you should have known the day alrrready. You werrre the one who arrrranged this get togetherrr." Aub paled, and visibly cringed.
"Ok, so we have 9 minutes to get there.. not gonna happen." She sighed and leaned against the ship next to Kris. "Well, maybe he won't be too upset."
"Who, Ath?"
"Yea. I told him I would be on time no matter what this time.. and once again I couldn't make it.
"I wouldn't worrrry. Everyone knows that boy is putty in yourrr hands." Aub smiled at Kris's statement, tilting her head to the side to look at her.
"I don't see it that way, and I'm sure he doesn't either. But still, I feel bad about it. I couldn't even make it on time to my own party."
"Don't be too down. Parrrrties are meant to be fun and cheerrrful."
"Well, with the lot who is coming, I imagine it will be quite.. interesting." Kris threw her head back and burst out laughing at her words, knowing exactly what she meant. Auber tried to hold her own laughter in, but began to laugh just as loudly as Kris, not caring that the whole ship was staring at the two of them. It was going to be fun.. no one would even notice she was late. Right?

Time to Announce.. -part 2-

Auberjeen and Krismorel could hear the shouts as soon as they landed in Port San d’Oria. Aub turned to Kris and grinned, knowing they had started the party already.
“You hearrr that? Sounds like the fun has starrrted without us, Aub.” Kris said loudly, trying to be heard over the noise from the Rusty Anchor.
“Yea.. it sure does.” She winced as she heard a loud yowl coming from the direction of the pub. “It definitely does.”
“Shall we?” Kris extended an arm to Aub, inviting her to grab on.
“Of course.” Aub linked her own arm with Kris’s and they walked towards to the Pub, both wincing at the series of shouts coming from inside. As they pushed the door open, chaos broke lose from inside, with a chair flying through a window. Kris grinned and broke free from their linked arms and ran over to Nombly, who had just chucked the chair. Aub stayed at the entrance, looking around at her fellow comrades.
She first saw Raizt standing at the counter, wearing his Black mage artifact armor he had recently gained from participating in Dynamis. He seemed oblivious to the small taru Blabj behind him in line, jumping up and down and shouting curses at Raizt.
“Come on Raizin, hurry it up, I’m starving here!”
“Hmm.. I’ll have the, no, wait. .. What about the.. no, that won’t do either. Hmm..”
“GRRRR YOU ONLY HAVE 3 CHOICES OF FOOD JUST PICK ONE!!!” Blabj screamed at Raizt, jumping up and down ever harder and throwing a fit. “And for crying out loud, can’t you make things a bit smaller around here or are you all blundering giants with no brains?” he continued to prattle out a stream of curses, mostly aimed in Raizt’s direction, and repeatedly jumped up and down.
More yelling came from the corner across the room, and Aub turned to see what the commotion was.
“You don’t know anything, this is how you spell Aht Urgan.”
“You don’t put a U-Rrrr, you put an E- rrr.” Nyrona growled at Ithyl, who was growling just as much back at her.
“You think you know everything because you’re a mithra, when really, you just want to argue to get attention on yourself. I bet you even know it isn’t E-r, you just want to be noticed.” Ithyl screamed at Nyrona, pounding her fist on the table.
“I know how to spell a damn countrrry you elvaan whorrre, there is no way you will everrr be better than me at grammarrr and spelling!” Nyrona screamed back, throwing her own fist on the table and leaning in, eyes narrowed at Ithyl.
“OI QUIET DOWN LIKE I CAN’T HEAR MYSELF.. MYSELF.. hey you guys.. how does the rest of that thing, um, phrase isn’t it? Yea, phrase go?” Asrial slurred to the two male humes surrounding her. She was slouched in her chair with a mug in her hand, and about 20 empty ones littered around her on the floor.
“Drink some more Asy and you’ll remember!” coaxed Littlefair, while patting her on the back.
“Yea yea, come on, I bet you can’t drink ten more Asy love.” Cooed Strachan while exchanging a wink with Littlefair.
“Oi I sure as hell can!” She fired at him, totally unaware of what was going on. Just then Ayrezy walked up to the table with a tray of drinks.
“Someone ordered some more?” He grinned at Asrial.
“Give em to me you elvaan scum. Wait.. I’m elvaan aren’t I?”
“No, you’re a special breed of monkeys Asy dear.” Said Strachan laughing, while brushing his choir boy hair cut back from his face.
“That’s whadathought..” she slurred and grabbed another mug and started to chug it down, gaining the catcalls from the three guys.
Aub turned to the next corner to see Ponikarovsky stood in his San d’Orian Aketon, attempting to pose for three mithra who had walked in on the party.
“So you see.. I had to fight all those skeletons myself, but they obviously didn’t stand a chance to my greatness..” the young group of mithra giggled at him and were obviously suckered into believing his story. He grinned and winked at the one with blonde pigtails who turned about three different shades of red.
Sitting at the table next to Poni was Geth and Afroninja, who were talking quietly amongst themselves. Afro played his fingers through the fire from the candle on the table and nodded occasionally to Geth, who must have been saying something of importance. Auberjeen saw Rampagesama creep up behind Afro, and folded his hands together as he began to mutter something under his breath. He grinned as a small bubble of water appeared over the candle and doused it, immediately grabbing Afro’s attention, who snarled and looked around the room for the culprit. Ramapage jumped up with a squeal as Afro pointed at him and hopped off his chair and began to waddle/run after Rampage, who was now headed straight out the door to the port town. Nombly cheered them on, with another chair in his hand ready to be tossed out the next window.
Auberjeen turned to the final corner to see Frankman sat drinking quietly, not uttering a word to his tablemate Saiden, who was rapidly scribbling something down on a sheet of parchment.
She finally walked up to the counter, where Raizt had finally placed his order and taken a seat. She looked down at Blabj who was still cursing about how the counters are too tall.
“Need a lift Blab?”
“I’d rather be eaten alive by a chigoe.”
“Haha.. ok, suit yourself.” She turned to look for the person she had thrown the party for, but he was nowhere in sight. She sighed, and turned to see him walk in the door.
“Ath!” her whole face lit up when she saw him, and she rushed over the door to greet him.
“Heya hunnybun, how are you?” He smiled down at her, taking her into his arms for a tight hug, and placed a quick kiss on her cheek.
“I’m ok. Looks like the party has already gotten started.”
“Not surprising. Was that Ramp being chased by Fro back there?”
“Most likely.”
“Ah.”
“OI ATH YOU LUNKHEAD GET OVER “ERE!” Asrial screamed, waving her empty mug around and conking Littlefair in the skull with it.
“OW woman, watch it!”
“Greetings, everyone!” Erindil waved as she walked into the tavern. Raizt smiled and waved her over to his table.
“Over here Erin, saved you a seat!”
“Thanks!” she waddled over climbed up next to Raizt, and they immediately became engrossed in conversation.
Auberjeen smiled and walked with Athilorian over to Asrial’s table, where she was in the process of downing another mug handed to her by Ayrezy.
“An Orcish Grappler could out drink you Asy.” Taunted Strachan, leering at her.
“NO SUCH THING!” she hollered and grabbed another mug. “I CAN OUTDRINK ANY OF YA!”
Auberjeen settled into a chair next to Athilorian and smiled as she watched her friends enjoy themselves. Ramapge ran back into the tavern screaming with his robe on fire, while Afro walked in behind him cackling to himself. Yes, Auberjeen thought to herself, tonight was going to be fun.

To be honest. If we ever did go to a pub in rl that's exactly what would happen I reckon.

Omg! the party is excatly how the linkshell actually is....so much going on at once, and if it wasnt for /tells it would be diffiuclt to make a conversation :) Also I like the way my sheep murdering was added in there, as i spent alot of time killing them for Erase!

I really like this Aub, we'll try to get pictures for the site ^_^...

Time To Announce.. -part 3-

“Can I have your attention please?!” Auberjeen shouted across the tavern, causing the noise to quiet down as the members of Magical Mystery Tour settled down in their seats. She stared across the familiar faces that she had been with for so long, smiling as memories danced across her mind. She pulled her adaman helmet off, and shook her hair a bit, placing the helmet on the table. “I want to thank all of you for coming. You know why we are having this party, well, everyone but Ath does.” She turned to smile down at his confused expression. “This is a congratulations party for you hun, for getting your Kirin’s Osode and Ranger Socks. You’ve been waiting so long, and been trying so hard to get them, and I just wanted you to know how proud that I, we, are of you.” She looked back up towards the crowd and began to clap her hands. “I think he deserves a round of applause.” The tavern exploded with clapping and cat calls to Ath; even Asrial managed to get up on her feet and give a couple of encouraging shouts before she passed out and fell against Littlefair, knocking him down to the floor.
As the applause died down, Auberjeen cleared her throat. Suddenly, the door slammed opened, and Waylander strolled in wearing nothing more than pieces of leather armor cut up into small strips that covered certain.. parts.
“Hello Rusty Anchor, are you ready to par….ty?” His eyes widened as he saw ALL of his mates all sat around staring, with gaping jaws. “Erm, you aren’t my regulars. I MEAN… UM.. what are you doing here?!?!” He was visibly sweating now and backing towards the door. “Right, I’ll be back, just.. thought it was a costume party?” He laughed nervously and pulled the door closed behind him as he rushed out.
Auberjeen tried to hold her laughter in, as did the rest of Magical Mystery Tour. Lips were pressed together, and hands were held over mouths. The tavern exploded with laughter as the hilarity of what had just happened sunk in. The door opened and Waylander walked back in, fully dressed now, his face a pale red.
“Right, MMT party, I got it, nooo costumes.” He sat down next to Ponikarovsky, who was still chuckling to himself.
“OI waylander, come give me a lapdance!!” Asrial shouted, awake again. The laughter rang out again as Waylander turned five different shades of red. The three Mithras who had been idolizing Poni now walked over to Waylander, clinging onto him.
“Oooh you’re sexy”
“Did you see those muscles?”
“I bet he could take on anything!”
“Um.. ladies?” Poni waved his arms wildly, and attempted to pose again. “Ladies..?” his shoulders slumped as he sighed dejectedly, and wandered over to the counter. “Give me a hard one, bartender.” Waylander, now enjoying his new found sex appeal, begins to flaunt his biceps and pose himself, causing the mithra to coo and giggle. Auberjeen shook her head and watched the party get back underway; Nyrona and Ithyl started arguing again, Geth and Afroninja went back to talking, Nombly and Krismorel were studying the damage they’d done with the chairs, Rampage was sitting on a block of ice he had conjured up, cooling his burns off, and Blabj was cursing while waiting in line to get to the toilet that Raizt was now in.
“You did all of this for me?” Athilorian asked, standing up and looking down to Auberjeen.
“Well.. yea. You don’t usually get appreciated that much, and you do so much for everyone here. We wouldn’t all be here if it weren’t for you.” His face broke into a smile as he started down at her.
“You are such a gem. I’m so glad I found you.”
“Oh ick, get a room you two.” Ithyl glared at them in disgust from the next table over.
“Hey, leave them alone. They have everrry rrright to theirrr public affection.” Nyrona growled at Ithyl, drawing her into another argument. Aub laughed to herself, then looked back up to Ath and smiled. She took his hand into hers and leaned against him, looking out across the tavern.
“Well hello.. you’re looking lovely tonight.” Ayrezy grinned roguishly at the red haired mithra standing by the bar. She giggled and blushed at his comment, encouraging him to go on. Poni stared over at them and sighed loudly, downing another drink. Asrial stayed passed out in the floor while Littlefair and Strachan tried to do nasty things to her and take pictures of it, probably for blackmail usage later on.
“You know hun, there are so many memories in all of these people.”
“Yes.. I know. It’s what makes this group of people so great.. it’s the things we’ve been through.”
“Hey, you haven’t been through anywhere NEAR as many things as I have!” Poni cried out from the bar. “This one time I..”
“Put a sock in it Poni.” Said Ayrezy, looking over his shoulder at him.
“Hey let the guy speak” said the mithra, slapping Ayrezy on the shoulder.
“Oww…”
“Yea, what do you remember Poni?” Aub said as she walked over to him and sat and the stool next to him. He looked up and smiled, glad to be the center of attention again.
“Why, I remember…”

To Be Continued..

LMAO!

Ok you got me good, top class.

I hope this new found sex appeal is carried over through the rest of the story to make up for it though! Next time there's a party I'll throw on a subligar and dance for all of you.

Time to Announce.. -part 4-

The door slammed open and Caelan strolled in, his hair and face drenched with sweat.
“Sorry I’m late.” He said, smiling, and strolled over to Waylander.
“HELLO? I was talking here!” griped Ponikarovsky as he thumped his arm on the counter. Caelan looked over and grinned, wiping the sweat from his brow.
“Right, sorry to interrupt you and all. I’ve just been busy in King Ranperre’s Tomb.” At the mention of the tomb the three mithra walked over to Caelan, their ears perked at the mention of the dangerous resting place of the late Dragon King Ranperre.
“You werrre in the tomb?”
“You must be so brrrave!”
“I bet you arrren’t scarrred of anything!” Caelan looked around at his new found groupies in confusion, then, shrugging, he placed his arms around the two closest to him.
“Well, it really was nothing. Though I think I might have heard the legendary wyrm deep within the cave..” the mithra broke into squeals, moving in closer to Caelan.
“You mean Vrrrrtrrrra? You hearrrd him?”
“Ohhh you must be some paladin.”
“I bet you could take him on single handedly!”
“Well ladies.. I don’t know if I’d go that far but..”
“HELLO???” Poni cried out from the counter, waving his mug around. “Am I ever going to get to tell my story?” Caelan looked back over his shoulder to Poni, laughing with the mithra around him.
“Go on ahead, we’re listening.”
“Oh forget it.. it isn’t even worth it now.” Poni muttered as he took another swig of his drink, and fell back down on the counter, his head flopping on his arms. He sighed dejectedly as Caelan shrugged and turned back the mithra around him, grinning roguishly.
Auberjeen walked over to Afroninja and sat next to him, sitting silently for a few moments and watched him play with the fire from the newly lit candle.
“Anything wrong?” he asked after a minute, and turned his head to look up at her.
“No.. just observing everyone.” She replied, leaning forward and resting her head on her hands.
“You seem a little down. Want some fire?” he pushed the candle towards her, smiling. Aub laughed and shook her head.
“No thanks. I’m not a fan of burns.”
“Suit yourself.” He said, shrugging, and pulled the candle back towards him, continuing to run his fingers through the flames. Aub sighed as she looked around, her eyes resting on Athilorian. He was standing next to the counter, patting Poni on the back. She smiled as she watched him try to cheer his fellow elvaan mate up. She was so lucky to have him.. sometimes she couldn’t believe that he had chosen her over all the other girls. She watched as his head turned towards her and, seeing he was being watched, gave her a heart-melting smile.
“WHAZZIT TAKE TO GET SOME BOOZE OVER HERE!” Asrial cried out, thumping her fists on the table. “The night’s just getting started! We gotta party!” Auberjeen turned to look at Asrial, and tossed a few gil over to her.
“Get yourself some grub As, you’ll feel better for it.”
“I jes wan sum more drinks..” she muttered, grabbing the coins and pocketing them. “But food does sound good.”
“Let me get you that food As.” Littlefair said, hopping up and making his way to the counter. Strachan scooted closer and patted her on the back.
“Yea, we’ll get you some water too.” He said, grinning at her.
“I’m perfectly capable of handling some more booze!”
“Yea, I know, but we want you to stay awake for a while yet, As love.” She blinked at him once, then twice, and burst out laughing, throwing her head back and holding onto her stomach. Her chair fell backwards and she smacked her head against the wall, flopping to the ground unconscious. Strachan jumped up and kneeled next to her.
“Asy? Asy, you ok? Umm.. .. ..PIE?”
“EH?” Littlefair turned back from the counter, shouting back to Strachan. “Ask her if she wants some pebble soup!” Auberjeen stood up, worried, and walked towards where Asrial was laying. Suddenly she fell to her knees, pain erupting from the back of her head. Her eyes blurred and she fell forward, succumbing to the blackness.

The Capture -part 5-

Sorry it took so long to get this next bit up.. been having some major RL issues with my wedding, so kind of been a lil distracted. Hope this next bit was worth the wait!
-----------
The undergrowth was thick, grabbing at her as she tried to push her way through. It was dark, with even the moonlight unable to pierce through the clustered foliage above. She could somehow see, even through the darkness, perfectly clear. The sounds were also magnified; she could hear each individual shriek and cry of the nighttime predators ringing through the dense forest.
“Where am I.. “she murmured to herself, looking around. It was so familiar, but she couldn’t get her bearings. “What’s going on?” She sighed loudly and continued to inch her way forward, pulling at the weeds that latched onto her feet when she froze. That was a scream, and it wasn’t from any beast she had ever heard. She immediately crouched down to try to camouflage herself, and scanned her surroundings. She whipped her head around to her left, narrowing her eyes. Something was going on alright. Beasts don’t cry, and she was hearing panicked sobs. She lowered herself even more, crawling her way along the ground, trying to ignore the bugs that were now crawling on her. She parted the fern in front of her, to see a group of people surrounding a rock slab in a glowing formation of stones.
“Oi, settle down little one, you’re going for a good cause.”
“Yes, yes! Tonight we shall bring-wingy Him back, and it’s all thanks to you!”
“Settle down you lot. We still have another hour to wait before the ceremony can begin. You, tighten that gag on her, we don’t want another scream to get out.”
“Perrrhaps we should have thought this thrrrrough a bit morrrre.”
“It will be fine, stop worrying. Tonight we will succeed.” The figure on the stone lurched up, trying to break free of the binds. Whoever it was could barely be heard.. the binding on their mouth was tight, and no words could be made out from the garble that escaped. She scooted closer, careful to not make a sound, trying to get a glimpse of the figure on the stone. She squinted her eyes, trying to focus. Everything was getting blurry.. why couldn’t she focus? She broke free of the bush and ran towards the stone, grasping the edge and staring down into the face. It was..

“Aub.. Aub come on, wake up..” She coughed once, then shook her head, trying to clear her vision. She needed her help, she had to break her free from .. the tavern’s table? Auberjeen clutched her head as she sat up, rubbing the knot on the back of it. The Rusty Anchor? But .. the stones, the forest.. where had they gone?
“Yo, you ok there Aub?” Ponikarovksy asked as he poked her a bit. She snapped at him, shoving his finger away.
“Back off, I’m fine. What the hell just happened?”
“Geez Aubie, I’m sorry, you just kind of stepped in the way.”
“What are you talking about Nombly?” She asked, confused. Athilorian walked up and cupped her face, looking closely.
“Doesn’t seem to be any damage .. you’re a lucky one Nomb.”
“WHAT? How am I lucky when you already clocked me in the eye!”
“That was for hitting her in the first place. You’re lucky you didn’t do any damage, or you would have a lot more than a black eye.”
“Aww shucks whatever man.” Nombly wandered off, kicking the ground occasionally, muttering to himself. Aub shook her head, still trying to get her bearings back.
“I’m sorry.. what just happened? What did he do?” Ath sat next to her on the table she had been sprawled out on and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
“He was throwing another chair hun, again for no apparent reason, but I guess he doesn’t need one to be stupid.” He turned to glare at Nombly, who stuck his tongue out at Ath and flipped him the bird. Ath growled and turned back to Aub. “As I was saying, while he was being stupid he threw the chair into your head.”
“She WALKED into the chair! I had already thrown it when she ran straight into it!” Aub looked around the room, still holding onto the back of her head. Man, that hurt like hell. Her eyes rested on Asrial, who was now up and drinking a pint of water at the next table over.
“You ok As?” Asrial turned and grinned at her, waving the pint.
“I’m dandy, you’re the one who got the concussion tonight, not me!” Aub tossed her head back and laughed, then groaned at the sudden pain the movement called.
“Right, that’ll be sore for a few days .. Nomy, it’s ok, I’m not angry.”
“Whatever Aubie. Sorry.” She shook her head again, her vision still a bit blurry. Blabj waddled up and hopped on a chair, staring at her intently.
“Aub.. you mumbled something about stones.. were they in The Sanctuary of Zi’tah by any chance?”
“What? How did you .. oh hell, so that’s where I was.” Athilorian stared down at her quizzically, furrowing his eyebrows.
“What’s this about Zi’tah? When on earth did you go there? You know it isn’t safe there, why would you go without me to look after you?”
“Hold up, ok.. I wasn’t there, not really.. I guess it was just a dream. Lucky guess there Blabj.”
“It wasn’t a guess.”
“What?”
“There were 5 people surrounding a stone, with a woman laying strapped to it.” Poni said quietly, drawing the attention of the pub to himself. Blabj looked silently at him and nodded. Krismorel walked up, hands behind her back, and looked down.
“A mithrrra, a galka, a hume, and elvaan, and a tarrru.” She said, her eyes rising to meet Blabj’s. He again nodded, and scratched his chin.
“So who else in here dreamed about it then?” he shouted.
“I did.” Geth said quietly from the back table, staring at the fireplace. “Last night. I didn’t see the person on the stone though, I woke up before I could get close enough.”
“The same happened to me.” Poni said, looking towards Geth. “It got blurry, and I was drawn back to reality.”
“Serrrious? That happened to me to.”
“And me.” Blabj tapped his fingers against his chin now, staring at the table. “Why on vanadiel would we all have the same dream?”
“What dream?” Raizt questioned as he meandered out of the toilet. Blabj cursed at him, waving his little taru arms around.
“For crying out loud Raizin you were in there for over an hour, I had to go to the airship dock just to take a piss!”
“Sorry, got into a good book and didn’t wanna leave till I finished it. So what dream?”
“5 people around a stone in Zi’tah.”
“Oh, I’ve had that.”
“SERIOUS? Do you remember when Raizin?”
“Was last night.”
“Mine was last night, too.” Poni added in.
“Yea.. I’m surrre it was last night.”
“Ok so, we all had it last night. Why did Aub just dream it now?” Auberjeen shook her head once more, still rubbing the knot on her head.
“I don’t know, but I managed to get close enough to see.. oh hell, Ithyl!” Aub jumped up and looked around. “I gotta tell her.”
“She’s already left, you can tell her tomorrow.” Ath said, pulling her back against him. “Be careful hun, don’t move around too much.”
“No, this is important, it was Ith, I gotta tell her tonight.”
“What was Ith?”
“In the dream, I got close enough to see who it was on the stone, it was Ithyl.”
“Damn, are you sure? We gotta go find ..”
“WHAT THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ..” the shout was cut off suddenly, and Aub jumped up from the table, rushing to the door, trying to squeeze through it with everyone else at the same time. They burst onto the street, running left and right, shouting for her.
“ITHYL??!”
“ITH??”
“WHERE ARE YOU?”
“Ithyl! Was that you! Ith!” Aub shouted, looking around frantically. “Oh hell, oh bloody hell. What the hell just happened?”
“Hun.. you might wanna look at this.” Ath said softly. She walked over to where he stood, surrounded by the rest of the people from the party. She pushed through and looked down. There on the ground was Ith’s red mage artifact hat.
“Oh hell, you know she wouldn’t leave that anywhere. She worked her ass off to get that pimp hat.”
“I know .. guys, I think we have a serious problem on our hands.” Ath said solemnly, picking the hat up and dusting it off.
“You’re sure it was Ith on that stone?” Blabj asked her, tugging on her hand.
“Yea.. I got right up in her face. It was Ith. And whoever else was there just got her.” Aub said quietly, while Asrial sobbed like a banshee next to her.
"We can't assume anything." Ath said, looking around. "It might have been common street thugs."
"Are you bloody serious?" Asrial turned to him, growling. "She isn't dumb enough to get caught by some common scum. She was taken and.. and.. they're g-gonna sacrifice h-her." She began to wail, and Strachan pulled her to him, patting her on the back. Littlefair walked over too, and patted her as well. Everyone began to talk amongst themselves, so Auberjeen walked off, looking over the port. What a way to end a party.. what the hell was going on?

The area around her was blurred and distorted. Quiet moans filled the air around her, mixing with the screeching from various creatures that flew above. There was no colour to anything, beside the miscellanous hues of gray and black. Everything was just dark, with no sense of light to be found.
She held her hand in front of her, scared, to see her arm move up in slow motion. Where was she? What kind of demonic place was this? In all her years of adventuring, she had never seen anything like this!
A rustle to her left made her turn her head, only to see nothing was there. Her movements were sluggish, her body was weighed down by the foul air around her. This land seemed so familiar, yet there was nothing distinguishable about it. Why did it grab at her, try to pull her into some distant memory? What WAS this place?
She cautiously walked foward at a slow pace, her legs not allowing her to move any faster, and glanced around her as she went. Her sword was drawn and her shield up; there might not be any monsters in view, but that did not mean there were none here. She literally inched her way foward, trying to discern if there was a way out .. how had she even got here in the first place?
Something appeared in the blackness ahead, a blurred shape that shifted as she grew closer. Was it a.. tower? It strangely ressembled the crag in La Theine Plateau.. but there were no trees here, nor anything friendly about this place.
She walked closer still, ever so slowly approaching the newly found tower. She stopped suddenly and squinted her eyes. Something was there, standing at the entrance. Was it a person? As if it sensed her questioning thoughts, the thing suddenly turned around and stared straight at her. It was a he, and he was massive. His whole body stood out in the fog, all of his features perfectly clear. His shoulders were wide and strong, and he had to be at least a head taller than her tallest Elvaan friend. His face was rigid, his skin wrinkled, tough, dark, and leathery. His eyes were a terrifying shade of black that seemed empty, but for the pure evil that exuded from them. She shuddered and averted her eyes from his gaze. She felt him from all the way back here, and she did not like what she felt.
"Welcome, little one." He rasped. his voice scratchy and deep. "I have been waiting a while now. Come, let us go." She looked back at him, startled, and stared for a few moments, trying to find her voice.
" ..Who are you?" she finally asked, her sword and shield still up and ready. She shifted her left foot foward and her right one back slightly, raising the shield higher with her left arm, keeping her right hand with the sword extended by her side. He laughed at her question, his arms coming up to his sides.
"You already know. I've been waiting a while now, as have you. Fate decrees you come with me, Auberjeen. You know it, so come." His voice grew louder now, and he held his arm out towards her, a greenish vortex building behind him. She hesitantly took a step towards him, her will to retreat had faded from her mind. All she could see was him, welcoming her, playing on her destiny. This was what she was meant to do!
She leaped back and covered her eyes as a sudden flash of light appeared before her. She heard him growl in pain from the light, and managed to open her eyes, squinting before her.
An elvaan woman stood before her, and she bore a startling resemblance to Ithyl. ..Ithyl! Her mind suddenly cleared, and she remembered her friends, her life. How could she have been tempted to go with him?
"That's right Auberjeen, you are not evil." the lady said, her voice tinkling as she spoke. Auberjeen looked up at her, confusion showing on her face.
"You know me?" she asked timidly, pulling her helmet back from her face. "You know my thoughts?"
"I do," replied the floating lady, "but there is no time to discuss. Awake now, Auberjeen. Do not forget the true path that lies before you." Auberjeen pulled her sword at ready as the anguished cry of the evil man reached her ears, but it suddenly stopped, replaced by a low chanting. "Begone Auberjeen, go back to your own world, your own time!"
"But who are you?" Auberjeen shouted, feeling her spirit being seperated from herself, her eyes blurring even more. She heard the chanting rise in volume, and then, she heard nothing.
