Was wondering if anyone here was familiar with this, my parents bought it to use on a desktop and now its flooded with viruses, i was wondering if this could be a result of the device itself, none of the other computers/laptops in the houses have been affected, just the one in use with the magic jack

When setting up the magicjack, sometimes support tells you to turn off firewalls/antivirus. Do you have operational firewall/AV?

Maybe that computer is just someone's favorite porn computer.

I doubt it since its my brothers computer and hes been in the hospital for over a month and we recently installed it maybe a week or so, anyway i did a system restore and it fixed the issue for now anyway

I've had a magic jack for the last two months, but I haven't had any viruses on my computer. I never turn my anti-virus off though.

I have a majicjack, and know a couple of other people that use them, no one else has had a problem with virii. I think the source of your problem is elsewhere.
