All Worlds Maintenance (May. 9)

At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

We ask that players who are scheduled to enter Assault areas, Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance wait until it is complete before entering. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

[Maintenance Details]
- Following Besieged related issues will be modified:
Beastmen level during besieged
Beastman Stronghold increase rate

-An issue where a disbanded alliance would remain as not disbanded will be fixed.

- An issue where a map purchased with Imperial Standing could be purchased again will be fixed.

- Monster "Sicklemoon Jagil" will be addressed to only respond to sound instead of sight.

- An issue where players may be unable to obtain key item for the "Vanishing Act" quest while harvesting will be fixed.

- Guild NPC has been giving out the incorrect recipe for synthesizing "Jaridah Salvars." This will be addressed.

No new AF quests that I was hoping fore =/ Still, making Besieged harder is good, I suppose.

I dunno, that level 5 Troll Besieged was pretty brutal.

I get the impression that SE REALLY wants the AC to get taken away from us...

whats funny with drg i lved toke me 2 months and was first EU with it lved 75 mainly as saticed with me myself and 2 mates XD and they did have the af in and did not slow down so pol most of new people lv fast
o btw it seems blu>pup.cor

Naw, AF wasn't in the game when it was first released in NA/JP. Atleast that's what I heard, my first job was RDM, so I never bothered with NIN/DRG/SAM/SMN

AF was all in it when game was relised the game cap was 70 but the AF was in there with the quests

AF had to be in before the game released in the U.S. I remember getting level 20, making the long trip to Jeuno, and seeing my first NIN... Full AF, except the face, and made my jaw drop.

Either way, I sure hope the AF for the new jobs are atleast usefull... I'd hate to see stats like RDM AF1 feet on BLU AF ~.~

No you goober, you hit 75 about... midway through my 6 months in San Diego... so lets see, it's been...ok yeah you're almost right, about 6-7 months ; jeeze time flies by fast! Those were good times though... good times, expect to get 'em going again when I come back!

Yes, my point was that all jobs didn't have AF at the point of the release. I'm rather sure that if someone can dig up the patch notes, they'll see that AF was added every now and then with every patch after RoZ release.

Maintenance doesn't really bother me, it's 2hrs of my life I can spend chatting to friends on MSN, going outside (oh.. my.. god!) or even just reading a book. Although I do get a little miffed that most of the time it's slap bang in EU prime time, but hey, what can you do?
