maintenance

it depends on what time zone your in but it's three hours long, so, that should help ya out :D

For all you out there that can't juse load up the FFXI main site...or read update notices before they happed....it will end at 1pm PST

Am i mental, blind, or just plain looking in the wrong spot nowadays? is it me or have the update notices been vague as hell and uninformative as of late?

Like .. the only thing i dug up in POL was that there was a problem qith the GM petitioning that was resolved yesterday. As per today's updates i can find nothing in POL. If anyone knows where i could find the information in POL lemme know, cos i haven't noticed anything other than "Wer're doing maintenance on day # at ##:## PST. can't play ... hahaha .. peace."

I think this is just a physical cleaning of the servers and other assorted equipment. The link for it is a few lines down from the one about the GM petition problems, on the Playonline site. I don't think we are getting any additional content or patches out of todays maintenance but I could be wrong.

I was just talking about the client in general. More than a while back when we were gonna update we got a thing in the update history that said "We're doing this this this this this this this and this" and nowadays it's just like "Maintenance. NO GAME FOR YOU!" i spose i could not be lazy and check the website, but i was wondering if anyone else had noticed the trend via the POL client.

Vagueries suck.
