Major Problems

So, on friday night I finally have some time to play for more than 2 hours, and I think Great, WOOOOOT. So I log into POL fine, and select my character when the "Downloading Data" screen comes on, and never actually loads me into the game.

So I figure, heh, must be busy, I will try again, same results. I then get an error of Code FFXI-3001. Now I have no idea what that means, but it is sunday night, and I am getting the same message. I do have Adelphia and have had internet troubles, so that may be it. But I really have no clue whatsoever.

I just contacted a GM and he said to call Tech. Services from 9am-6pm PST. I dunno if they are open tomorrow, so I figured I would post up in here to see if anyone had this problem before. Or knew what was going on. Thank you in advance. And Wish my luck

Problem solver 99% of the time is a reinstall. Most hated thing to hear, but in the end it's probably faster than spending hours with techsupport just to have them tell you to reinstall after they can't fix it.

Something that worked for me (but on an another level):
Months ago I couldn't go pass through open doors in Bastok Mines. GM and tech support were to no support so I've done a "check file" (option on the POL log screen). It appeared I missed the 50.dat file.
So I re-installed the game and.... same problem :x .

My solution : I had a friend send me the file, I pasted it in the right repertory and bam! It worked fine!

I am currently "on hold" with Playonline Tech Support, I am really hoping I do not have to reinstall. That would suck more than Batcheporu, Wait, is that even possible. Well, wish me luck.

I hate life, SO I was on the phone for 45 minutes with theTEch Support guy, he said it was my router. Yeah Right, fuck you Tech Support guy. I told him I have been playing since NA release, same Router, and all of a sudden it does not work. Then, I reinstall the whole game, thinking it was a file problem, NOPE, STILL CANNOT FUCKING LOG IN. I am just about to give my account away. What the fuck is goin on???
