Title says all. This may appease those who are tired of hearing about it. I hope.
I personally think thats what the flameboard is here for, to flame and vent, but for those who are sick of it and simply choose not to read them, but post their disgust instead, this may be a viable solution. I can see their point of view.

Stopping all discussion on it is not an option, I say this not because of personal bias, but because that would totally go against what this board is about, and free-speech in general.

But wait, if these discussions are moved, will we loose prime arguement/flame material? or will those that are sick of it go to that board and post their disgust anyway?

Gil sellers and the like is probably on most people's minds, maybe they have gotten screwed over too many times by them?

Also lazyness comes to mind. They are too lazy to post how they feel about gil selling on an already existing thread of that topic...

They should sticky the gil-seller issue.. ^_^

Attention whores will still make their own gil sellers thread, no matter whether there is a sticky one already or not.

Why people still participate in those threads is beyond me, clearly one could stay away from them as they are easily identified by their topics.

Even I'm getting sick of the topic, with gil going so far down in real world $$$
value, and the release of other MMORPG's, this will continue to be less and less of an issue to Vana'diel.

I feel sorry for all the WoW and EQ'ers who will soon have the problems we do.

Sorry, but it won't happen. Most everything of value (as far as loot goes) comes from instanced encounters in EQ2. Meaning there is no mob camping, instead you go, do the encounter with friends, and get your loot if you happen to succeed.

In addition, there is trivial loot in EQ2, meaning that if a mob doesn't give you any experience (mob is too low), then it won't give you any of it's special loot either, only occasional commons such as rat ears from a rat and so on.

I have to say that SOE did really good this time around. Sure there will still be plat sellers, but at least they won't ruin spawns for everyone else.

Well that says it for EQ, anyone got any input from the WoW universe?

Why does this have a sticky, yet the gil sellers do not?

that was a gag...just aq little something to laugh at..

WoW it is fairly easy to make money. Though there aren't like... NMs to camp that super rares, you can still farm your ass off to get money easily... I "farmed" for about an hour and came off with like 50 silver on low level mobs, so imagine people farming higher level mobs 24/7 and just NPC'ing everything. yes that 50s was from NPC sale.
