Well I get home today and I notice that there is a new poll in the Lounge area called, “How much would you be willing to pay to see a Final Fantasy concert?”

I decided that I would respond honestly because anyone who knows me knows that I play with final fantasy muted 100% and listen to music while playing and I stated that I wouldn’t pay anything to see the concert. Apparently this was blatant trolling but as usual its not really the substance of what I typed that was important but more the fact that it was edited for no apparent reason.

So I reposted my comment and added that I was frustrated that my comment was deleted for what I saw as no reason. It was again deleted so I posted it a third time with the addition of please PM me the reason why my posts are being deleted when I am merely posting my opinion.

Your post was deleted because it was blatant trolling in that thread. These are things that you should know better than to do, especially with the examples how other people said they wouldn't unless it was free.

How was it trolling just because i personally think it would be a horrific waste of money... thats just my opinion... the first time i was just stating my opinion which is what i thought the fucking thread was for... I only posted a second time because my post was erased and i always find that incredibly irritating.

Exactly what part of my original post would you call blatant trolling. I admit i may be stalking the thread now but that is only because i am irritated over the continued over moderation.

The whole post was blatant trolling. The second one was even worse, and i had PMd you before you made the third one. I know you can express your opinions without being a troll, and you do too, so i don't know why we are even having this talk.

It is not blatant trolling to have an opinion other than that which is commonly being expressed by the moderators… it is just a fucking opinion and as such there are no grounds for the post to be deleted. Please prove me wrong and post screenshots of what I originally posted since I believe even if you delete something you can see what it was as an administrator.

Please post on here what I posted and explain to me how it is trolling and not merely my opinion on the subject.

I took it here because typically this is the only way i ever get answers out of the moderation staff. Sure i will get a bunch of fucktards that always take the moderations staff against me here but truthfully most people know who all of those people are and discount most of what they type.

The main reason i took it here is because you instantly decided to deride my comment with the, "As far as overmoderation goes? Oh, you." Seeing as i have long ignored the fact that ever since our last confrontation about overmoderation you have had your user title be, "Who watches the Watchmen?" which is the translated version of my user title from Juvenal's satires.

Also you completely neglected to answer my question about how it was trolling and just repeated that it was blatant trolling. Moderators on most sites can see what is deleted so please take a screenshot and post it on here so everyone can see what is apparently trolling. Anyways the conversation was going here anyways.. i may have hastened it a bit, but all could be fixed if you just stop deleting posts at your own discretion that do not actually break any rules.

2. The first post may not have been trolling but was viewed as such by staff. Deal with it?

3. The second and third posts, especially with misplaced disclaimers of frustration and demands of action explanations were most definitely trolling. If you've got a grievance, put them in the RIGHT place.

I really need to find or make a hack that makes it so people on your ignore list can't view your threads at all. Personally, I don't want you to read my posts and respond to them because every post you make, you post as a belligerent asshole who thinks he's better then everyone in the thread. The thread up didn't ask you whether or not you would go to one or not, or if you wouldn't pay for it, or if you'd have to get paid to go see it.

So yeah, I see it as trolling. Mainly because even if the thread has nothing to do with your opinion, you still feel the need to have to shove it down everyone's throat. Don't want to go see an FF concert? Don't post or vote in the poll. It's simple as that. But of course, you being the annoying tool that you are had to make your voice heard again. Well too bad, people saw it as trolling and it was deleted accordingly. As long as you keep acting like an annoying troll I can be confident that your posts will be deleted as such.

Sweet... you confirmed that you can see them... please screenshot them and post them because at this point i want you to tell me how they are trolling word by word instead of just listing your opinion.

Ah this is a new and interesting argument. Lets cut through the crap though.. I am an asshole i actually take pride in this fact. I do think that i am better than everyone else... I think most people do its not really as far as arrogance i wouldn't say but i would say i am extremely self confident.

You seem to be arguing that i shouldn't have the right to post in your thread because i typically disagree with you and you don't value my opinion. So if that is what trolling is i guess... i was trolling. But then how is this post not trolling as well?

Edit: Is it playing for all Final Fantasy's? If so, I love the music from the final fight with Sephiroth in FF7.

Your post in the thread was pretty much a classic example of trolling. If the content of the thread had been "What do you think of Final Fantasy music, and do you think its worth it to go to a concert?" Then your post would have actually had a place.
It was a thread for people who do enjoy the music, and discussing what would be worth it to see the music live.

Maybe you're just too much of a dick to have realized it, but that's trolling. Not all trolls are intentional, but they're all pretty obvious.

For example i got slapped the other day for making a comment to my friend at a Walmart that they had far too many cripple spaces and the fat people who were just lazy should have to park at the far end of the lot... The 500 lb lady who was walking next to me did not appreciate that apparently.

The original intent of the first post may have been innocent enough. When it was interpreted as trolling by the staff and you disagreed, the appropriate course of action is a PM to the staff according to The Site Guidelines.

Here are the specific guidelines you are presently in violation of:

Were reasonable people... we don't want to ban people. For that matter, we don't even want to moderate as it takes away from the precious free time we have for leveling up during our uneventful Saturday nights. If things get out of line, we'll say so. You have to play nice in the sandbox with us and we don't steal your milk money, cool?
Including but not limited to: Staff asks you to stop posting cat pictures all over the place and you don't. Staff deletes/edits your posts, you repost the same content.

There are certain ways to bring things to the staff's attention. The Support and Feedback section or PMing a global mod or admin is the correct course of action. We aren't the Nazis, the Gestapo, or any other villainous organization out to get you.
Including but not limited to: Posting in a Meet & Greet thread about a staff decision you disagreed with, putting "Mods are fags" in your signature, repeated posting of material you know will be edited/deleted in an effort to create more work for the staff

The situation may have been handled differently had you conducted yourself differently. If you are just going to violate the site guidelines in and throw a fit here, you only reinforce the decision to delete your posts in the first place.

I will be pretty surprised if the content of the deleted posts is copied here. Throwing a fit like a 2 year old with a big vocabulary isn't the appropriate way to resolve an issue.

The first action that occured was the deletion of my post and as far as im concerned the rules of the forum are a contract between the moderators of the forum and the users of the forum. By deleting my post when it did not actually violate any rules you breached the usage contract and all of my further actions have been justified.

I asked to be informed as to which rule i was breaking which trolling is not even one of the rules on the guidelines... Flaming is which mentions trolling but in order for me to be flaming i would have to have a target in mind. As for griefing the staff that rule states that you are doing it for the purpose of creating more work for the moderators whereas i was doing it to prove a point.

no this is the section where they nitpick on rules that i have broken since the initial deletion and ignore the argument that i have laid out about the deletion of my post in the first place.
