Well I don't how I could miss how your first post on the forums once you pulled that hand out of your pants with a sock on it didn't address anyone. It was an ambiguous post stating that you like the linkshell and you think we should stop picking on the them. You mention that you like MBP because they don't trash their competitors, yet you specifically throw another social linkshell on the server under the bus as a "don't be like them" reference. Which I guess in your sick sad little world there is competition in social linkshells. I mean what are you guys competing over in MBP? Do you guys want to dual with another linkshell and see how many people you can get into the shell without leave Vlakrum Dunes? Do you compete to see how many people respond with "STFU" as you /shout in cities for members? Or wait do you guys bring whole alliances to camp Leaping Lizzy so that your new player who's going to quit in a week because they don't like the grind of leveling can lot?
Assuming I don't know what I'm talking about makes the old proverb ring true... "When you assume you make an ass of yuo and me" (read the word assume slowly, its ok I'll pause so it can sink in and you can pick up what I'm throwing down)
I will bet my bottom dollar your idea of activities includes getting you your subjob, giving/lending you gear/gil, helping you with Kazham keys, and PL'ing you. All the things that may seem really great and a lot of players will agree that you essentially need to get done. But how the hell does it build your skill to level WHM and have someone who's already done it do your job? So that when they're not around and you invite me into your party you blow dick at healing and cause the whole party to die, HP, and lose time they could be doing something productive. How's it help that if you don't learn at a lower level the grind that goes into farming for good gear and you finally hit that big 30 you go buy some gil to make it easier? Not to mention there is not standards at all to get in and stay in the linkshell. Do you honestly want to be a member of something where there is no set standard? 1a.) You've never owned a social linkshell, I bet, so you probably wouldn't understand competition. I don't expect you too, either. (By the way, besides him totally destroying you, it doesn't seem like Pandetech knows you that well. After all, he didn't even know you made him a flameboard on qcdn. 2a.) Good job. You're managing to say that some of the members in the linkshell aren't exactly game experts or something, which I'm assuming as something to do with being "gimp". However, this isn't making the linkshell seem bad at all. After all, it's a social linkshell. It's not dynamis, or whatever linkshell you're in. What you're saying is it is impossible for others to achieve rank 3 if someone has a gimp subjob. It isn't impossible, though. So you're just making yourself seem like more of an idiot.
2b.) What the linkshell does to people outside of the linkshell has no concern to me. I could care less what they do to other people. I'm in their linkshell, they're good to me. They have never PLed me. This is your opinion. As far as I've known, no one in the linkshell has ever been PL'ed. Please try to stay on subject. "Why should I leave?" "Because they PL each other."
Also, the PL'ers could give useful pointers to partying to the person they're PLing. This is just one of many ways to build your skill. Most of the people who play this game have probably been PL'd at one point or another, so watch out.

I was pointing out why someone asked the mule to join the shell. All players in the game, mule or not, have the potential to be social. I wasn't saying that the linkshell isn't full of gimps, noobs, and assholes (which it isn't, and it wouldn't matter anywhom because it's a social linkshell not dynamis or end game). So, to comply with your request, I suppose you stopped becomming logical when you wrote your first sentence.

Here I'll break it down a little easier for you, using your format; which is to say, half a sentence every numbered bullet...
1) I used paragraphs because I never changed the topic. Basic English grammar teacher you now to break up continuous ideas.
2) You're not competing with other linkshells? You mentioned ArtOfWAr linkshell and them slandering their competition, so obviously you think there is some competition going on; or were you just popping off at the mouth again?
3) Yes I've owned social linkshells. Many to be exact. I know their purpose. Don't assume because I berate your social linkshell that I've never had my own.
4) Never once did I tell you to leave the shell. I mentioned it was sad that MPB was the best shell you could find, but didn't tell you to leave. I would suggest finding a group that isn't setting you up for failure. If you enjoy the game then you'll more than likely play for a while. Would you rather have things come easy to you now and be screwed over later of put hard work in learning how the game works and be a better player later? Here's why they help you: So you won't leave. I would guess that every 30 minutes or so, someone in the linkshell says "guys can you help me do this?" or "can you help me buy that?" And I know they ask for gil because I've had several player walk up to me and ask if they could have some gil. When I /check them guess what shell they're in?
5) SME's or not, the term gimp implies a lack of preparation or concern for the job they're playing. Gimp could be not having the appropriate subjob leveled (WAR/WHM), not having an equipment piece on each available slot, or not using the correct weapon (WAR wielding a club). And I've seen several members of MBP like that. Law of probabilities leads me to think not everyone is like that, but there's enough to where I can make a generalization.
6) That's a great attitude to have. "What my group does to others doesn't concern me since I'm part of the group." That's same logic *** members have. "I don't really care if they go out and lynch people, I'm a member."
7) I look like a fool? That's great. Can you read? "To assume makes an ass of you and me." It's supposed to clue you in that when you assume, you're more than likely wrong which makes both parties look bad. So if you could stop assuming things about me, because every time you do you're wrong. That's just wasting time on my part trying to clear it up. It's also sad most of your rebuttal is calling people fools or saying they don't have a brain. Then you mention you like the shell and you don't want to leave. That's great... GET THE FUCK OUT of this thread then. The topic is about the linkshell and you want to somehow prove us wrong but can't seem to mention anything about the linkshell except maybe a blurb here and there.
8 ) OK, well maybe you haven't been PL'd but I've seen plenty of your shell members getting PL'd. I don't really have a problem with a 75 WHM coming to the dunes to help a friend out who's leveling, but only if the people in the party have already spent their time before hand doing it. That is, I don't mind people getting PL'd if they have a higher leveled job of the similar type but when someone who is a level 15 WHM with no sub is being PL'd how's that helping?

I had the Brady Guide. I was WAR/WHM until level 33, 'cause the guide said it was kewl.
I think people need to lighten up a bit too. Why does it always have to be about OMGIGOTTAGET1000000XPANHR!!!!111!!11!
I mean, it's one thing to offer other players advice, but to cram it down their throat...
Seriously though, if there is a person in your party that is making you miss out on that extra 800XP an hour because they don't have a +1 version equipment, I'd say that is probably your problem that you need to address by finding other people to party with.
Seriously though people, leave the social linkshells alone. They will find out for themselves when people start to decline party invites and decline them for endgame shells because they don't have the right setup. You don't have to brow-beat someone because they are in a level 37 party and they aren't l33t.

Answer: Sorry, no. I don't own the linkshell myself, so I don't compete with other linkshells. I can compare with other linkshellss, though.

Well, that's awesome.
I'm asking why.
You say that they're set up for failure, yet you've never been inside the linkshell so you can't exactly say that since you know nothing about the interior functions of the linkshell.
For example, when I ask for help, ManBearPig usually tells me how I can help myself. If I'm still having trouble, they'll help me out. They will never help you buy anything. They will tell you how to make money. If you've had several "player" walk up to you and ask you for gil, that's superb. However, the chances of this happening are very slim. Out of all the people around you, "several" people chose you.
And even if they did choose you to ask you for gil, why whine about it? Oh wait, that's right. Because you "can". Because you're so mature that you whine about a 14 year old's actions? Why can't you just live on with the fact that someone outsmarted you, and you're just a jealous old drunk.
But seriously, to my final point. Even if they did ask you it doesn't mean they ask their shell. And even if they did ask their shell it doesn't mean that they gave them gil. What it means is you're being a hypocrite once again, and you're making an ass out of you and me for assuming.

Answer: There's never enough to where you can make a generalization. That's like saying there's "just enough" Jews to corrupt the economy of Germany, etc.

Also, even if they ask for help for killing the rank 2-3 dragon, it doesn't matter. As long as the dragon dies and they get their rank 3, it's okay. I'm sorry you can't grasp that, but that's the way it is. Don't pretend otherwise.

Answer: It doesn't take an assumption to realize that you're looking like a fool. For example, you ask me in text if I can read. That's awesome.
I want to somehow prove you wrong? Prove you wrong about what? That the linkshell has some gimps, if not the majority? No. I'm not trying to deny that. As a matter of fact, I haven't even acknowledged the amount of gimps in the linkshell.
What I'm talking about is how just become some of the players are gimp doesn't make it a bad linkshell. And if that isn't all your reasoning behind why it is a terrible linkshell, try to learn some background information on the shell before you attack it. Otherwise, you'll end up in a situation like this again.
And if that "assumption" is "wrong", then don't only post about how the linkshell is gimp. That's all you can seem to mention.

Answer: It's not about if they're actually helping or not. It's about the thought. It's generous for someone such as a level 15 to PL a person when they could be leveling up or trying to get a subjob.
But since you've seen so many people you should be able to remember at least one of them. Can you mention who was fighting and who was the PL? Maybe they can tell you why they were doing it, instead of you assuming that they weren't helping.
Btw, as long as someone is leveling up in a PL, I consider it helping.
P.S Kelyon, if you want to help people in game, don't complain about how others help people. Help people out for yourself instead of posting swears on qcdn.org.
Zoltan: That's your opinion. Probably the reason why it hasn't been mentioned is because it's an awesome linkshell name, and I know that the only reason I really joined was because of the name, to be honest xD.
ManBearPig was created out of the members of PandeFariMageBender, because Pandetech had to go away for a while.
