No, I don't think that's it. I think it's more or less that even the flameboard has *some* standards, albeit very low ones.

I know it's to be expected and not against any rules, but it's common courtesy and shows the persons 'character' if they use it.

i would, but i changed it enough (ie: no caps, the :ph34r:) that i no longer need to give credit... that and i just hate white people, we suck

That is ONE opinion. My "character" is not defined by a single statment although you are entitled to think whatever you want.
