I don't feel any of those are right. Religious prejudice is just as serious as racial prejudice. Many cultures force you into a religion, so really, you are born into the situation, just as your are with your race.

You've taken my point then. It's not ok for people to get all huffy when someone makes fun of their religion, when they'll do the same thing to everyone who doesn't agree with them. I grew up in a Fundie background in the Bible belt, I know there's no such thing as an open-minded Christian. Every religion is based on rediculous statements and events, they all revolve around faith. If your faith is tested by an off-handed joke, then you either need to do more research into your religion, or ask for forgiveness from your god.

Their faith isn't being tested by any means, its just not productive argumentation to make an ignorant statement like that. Being open-minded and protecting your faith are two entirely different aspects.
