HAve anyone try using this weapon skill? although it says that damages varies with TP, the amount of damage I do for 100 TP and 300 TP is the same.

Beside that, I try AC with Mandalic stab and i only get 11 TP everytime instead of 12 TP. Not sure if I am missing the last hit but the enemy is only EM =.=

Anyone have the same problem as me or did i see wrongly?
 
I unlocked it a while ago went to campaign did a few SA mandalic stabs for like ~800ish and haven't done any other testing of any sort.
 
I've had it for a while now and I love it. When I use Assassin's Charge, I get 12TP return, altho sometimes 13 (I'm guessing because I ws in some Store TP gear). Also, WSing in higher TP does seem to affect it, atleast to me. Altho I'm typicaly using at @ 100.

Usually, the WS is going to do about the same numbers unless you DA or TA it. On Greater Collibri, it is gonna do about 1k without DA or TA if you sneak attack it. (My DE's would do around 1300-1500) My highest Mandalic Stab in a PT was 1883 (SATA AC Hide) on a Puk. And highest ever is 3363 on some bee in Salvage.

Overall, DE is going to beat it in a pt situation. You can't really say it won't. But I will however say that Mandalic Stab is a great WS with a lot of potential. I'm doing my best to see how much more DEX I can get to see if it shoots the numbers up higher. Currently, I WS in +53 STR and +40 DEX (giving me 113/114 respectivley).

from what i read, mandalic stab is basically an upgraded version of viper bite, and it doubles your attack during ws with dex modifier. That means it's not gonna be better than DE in pt BUT this will be better than SB on HNM, especially since it's 1 hit, you dun need to worry about your 2nd hit missing like SB.

Can someone post some WS SS? i have yet to see some pretty SS for this new WS

It's fun to use. Certainly a wonky sorta WS. With my X's it seems to be comparable to Evisc sometimes and significantly less other times. I use it solely with SA and usually save AC for it. When I used it in dynamis it put up some decent numbers as well as in Nyzul. Mandalic Stab just hasn't proven to go beyond except that it looks pretty. I'm enjoying Mordant Rime a lot more. ^^

It will do far better than any other weaponskill on anything with high defense.

I personally love the weaponskill and SE did a great job with it.

I did a KS99 yesterday, and I was fighting the Wyrm. Just Trick Attack + Assasin's Charge + Mandalic Stab yielded 980~1.1k on him. Not bad at all, much more than DE would do. I've tried it on a couple of other mobs (Dynamis Lord with SA Mandalic Stab was about 880).

Now when you go to an xp situation:

*With just Sneak Attack WS*

MS on Mamool: I'll average 870~ Mandalic Stab
DE on Mamool: Avg: 950+

MS on Birds: Avg 1k-1.1k
DE on Birds: Avg 1.4-1.6k

So it definatley has its uses. Also, does better on dynamis mobs than DE.
 
Mandalic Stab is very consistent for HNM use, although Shark Bite has the potential to out do it. But if you're looking for very consistent damage, Mandalic Stab is the way to go. Otherwise, Shark Bite can generally do more.
