Is there some reason why people main hand maneater and off hand woodville?
Even with the latent effect it only 49dmg to woodville 50 and that 49 go back to 46 after hitting 100 tp. The 18atk and 5 acc work in off hand so why do people main hand it with woodville?

Because they're dumbasses.

Whoever is doing this should be ripped of their rite to be a WAR...

Maneater should be mainhanded only when paired with Jug, but yea, Will is right: They are dumbasses.

Because Red is my favorite color

Because a lot of people think that because +crit only effects the specific weapon, acc/attack only effects the specific weapon.
That being said...yeah, they're stupid.

It could be a mistake. Point it out to them and if they say "oh, whoops" or something then they probably just accidentally put the wrong weapon in each slot or something. I've made similar mistakes, like wielding a Tungi mainhand and a Fransisca offhand even though the Fransisca is obviously a better mainhand weapon. That would mostly occur from lack of attention and the fact that both weapons have a similar graphic... while Woodville's and Maneater do not. (When I made this mistake I was level 65ish and was using Fransisca/Tung)i.

But yeah, otherwise they're fucking retarded.

I have been seeing this alot also. People also are main handing fast soft hitting weapons, while off handing hard slow weps.

It's the same reason why people main hand fudo and offhand Senjuinrikio; they're idiots.

m i doin it rite

Because they search the hidden effects of maneater in Allakhazam...

Was it proven/disproven that Senji's crit bonus is in effect on WS's -as well- as normal melee hits (we all know it's hand specific of course).

I remember reading some conjecture a while back on IF those crit bonuses transferred to WS hits as well. But I don't ever remember reading a conclusion.

I read something like this as well, and I'm pretty sure the consensus was they didn't transfer to WS. Although I'd have to search for the post.

only morons would do that.

man eater is a superior main hand with MOST other axes in the game, but not woodvilles.

I'd hafto say it does...at least, Morgenstern had much higher average damage per WS than Sea Robber or Brass Jadagna, so I don't see why it'd be any different for Senj.

Maneater is what i have found the best main hand weapon for Rampage, with Juggernaut off hand. Never tired main hand it while using Woodville off hand, so dont really know if it will cut down dmg a lot due to the 1 different based dmg. Same thing as I have seen a few THFs main hand Harpe,P-Harpe with Ridill off hand.

I'm sure a big reason they main hand the dagger is for dagger ws's.
