Xbox360 Mass Effect 2

Spoiler:
I just said fuck the achievement, and sent Zaeed to lead the surviving crew back to the ship. Thank God, because he died too. I hated that asshole lol

Spoiler:
I did Legion in the vents, Garrus for the first team, Grunt for the second team (since he'd draw fire, he died...) but should have stuck with Garrus. Took Samara for the shield and her and miranda for the final. Had all the upgrades as well, and decided to blow up the ship. On my second play through now and will probably do pretty much the same except Garrus x2.

Not sure if its a spoiler or not, but it pisses me off that you basically lose Jack or Miranda loyalty if you dont have Paragon/Renegade out the ass by the time you finish both loyalty missions. I happened to do Jacks first to get it out of the way, then did Miranda second, cause the cutscene where they fight. And which ever one you tell to chill out you lose loyalty, unless you have a high rating im assuming since those options were greyed out. Next time I'll have to just do every other mission before finishing Jacks or something so I can have them both be loyal (although, I doubt it matters either way since I dont like Jack and will never use her).

Still loving the game. I like Soldier with Reave as a special ability. Im not much for biotics or tech but its a nice ability to drop a shield quick or take an enemy out of the picture. I like soldier mainly for Adrenalin rush, hit that while rocking the viper and popin some heads is always fun.

I won mine on my first try with:

Spoiler:
Legion on the Techs, Garrus leading both teams, Jacob on the escort, Samara for biotic, and Thane/Miranda for the boss and had no trouble

Really enjoyed the game but I thought the end felt kinda rushed.. you spend all this time building your squad, only to fight the bad guys in a 2 hour if that barrage. Idk, just thought there'd be more to the story or something.

Yes the big knock on ME1 and 2 is the relatively short main storyline. THeres so much side quests and missions to do (Which were fun and not repetitive like in ME1), but the Sidequest to Mainquest ratio is way too unproportioned, i would really like to see a much longer and rewarding storyline for ME3.

Question for the PC players. My system was more than enough for ME 1 but I'm not sure if it's good enough for the new game. These are the recommended settings:

Windows XP SP3 / Windows Vista SP1 / Windows 7
2.6+ GHz Cure 2 Duo Intel or equivalent AMD CPU
2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, or better recommended
100% DirectX compatible sound card and drivers
DirectX August 2008

and these are my specs:

Windows Vista 64 bit
Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz
2.0 gigs of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Full up DirectX 10 compatible

Will I be able to play this game on a good graphics setting?

You should be fine to run the game at medium graphics, I had a computer with only slightly better specs(2.4GHz AMD dual core and 9800GT card) and I never ran into a game I couldn't run looking decent; I just couldn't max out the settings. About the only thing you'd "need" to upgrade would be your graphics card and that should be fairly cheap(~$100 or so), everything else is fine.

yeah, i play with core 2 duo 2.0, 2 gigs, and only a 8800 gs card.

have to turn all the effects off and run at 800x600. there isnt a partical effects setting, but you can still play under fullscreen with that res. No lag outside of the opening mission, there is a battle that lags.

My system is a core 2 quad core @2.4Ghz, 4GB of ram and a 8800 gts. MA2 runs perfectly at max settings, with only a minor amount of lag when I fire a heavy weapon (and then it seems intentional, so I don't know for sure). I'm surprised my card is still holding up for being nearly 4 years old now, but I'm not complaining.

Still loving MA2. Glad I spend the time to gather a shit-ton of resources. Cause now when there's an upgrade, I just click research and know I still have 150k+ still left.

lol

Jacob is the biggest retard on earth and I want everyone to live but him.
Reasons include:
The black guy is always supposed to die.
He's the least interesting person on the Normandy, Kelly is more interesting than he is for christ sake
He fucking told Tali "Don't forget to check out the ships AI". How god damned stupid and insensitive can you be? There should have been a paragon trigger to tell him he's an idiot for saying that or a renegade option to put a bullet in his head right then and there for it because I tell you right now, I would have pressed the renegade trigger so fast his head would spin...and pop.

AI and Synthetics aren't mutualy inclusive. Which is why she flips the fuck out over Legion, but not EDI.

The line between ok and not ok is pretty vague I think, and she pauses noticeably when he says it so I think my assertion is correct.

This game is really sweet.

Beat it last night and all of my team survived...

BUT apparently since I finished up a ton of N7 missions before I went through the relay, I took too long and my crew got turned into paste. Including Kelly...and I liked Kelly. Probably going to run through the game again so I can rescue them this time.

Yeah, apparently if you want to save all of your crew, you have to do every side mission you want to complete BEFORE you go for the IFF, and then immediately leave for the relay after they get taken.

Ah crap I just realized all I saved was chakwas from the crew, didn't think it was possible to save em. Bummer I didn't have a save before the IFF.

You can still do the Legion loyalty mission before you go though, and you'll still save them, atleast I did his mission and still saved Kelly, Chakwas and the cook for sure.

From what I read, you had to leave immediately, as every side mission you went on you lost some crew members; you'll always be able to save Chakwas though.

my first run through, the entire crew died and all but 4 squad members
