Mass Effect

I dunno, those Gamestop employees look pretty beefy. <.<
 
I just came back from k-mart and they are selling the game today. If you guys want you can go check out your local k-mart or wall mart and see if they are selling it early. I bought mine in Northern VA K-mart.

I'm really liking this game a lot so far. I could see myself losing sleep or work from this game :( . I thought the graphics were bad at first but I didn't realize it was because I had film grain enabled in the options.
 
No K-mart here but hoping ToyRus has it. I see they have it in stock at the warehouse.
 
i got it, but im not touchin it till i finish the amazing assassins creed...i just cant put it down...
 
I think ill be playing Mass Effect first.

its still running abour the same the story has been pretty average so far, the shooter portion has been ok, leveling has been fun. but i have not got the feeling of WOW this is amazing while playing it yet, it just feels average and very very time consuming because of all the long conversations with different options.

Were you a fan of KOTOR?
 
I haven't played Mass Effect but I love these types of games. I love talking to my party members and makin decisions, though alot of gamers will try this game for visuals and probably not like all the dialogue. This game will not be for everyone thats for sure.
 
I have it pre ordered, and although i know the lesbo alien scene is worth the 60 bucks alone (jokes) i can't wait to play it.

So it's like Jade Empire?
 
i actually never got to play jade empire. I does feel alot like KOTOR but at least KOTOR had that mystical jedi feeling to it where this game does not. Though your decisions do heavily change the outcome of future events, for instance, theres a species called the Ratni (Sp?) that you come acrossed that had been extinct, some people find an abandoned ratni ship and theres an egg on it, they hatch it and breed them from the queen and raise the children themselves, but because they raise them the ratni become evil and have no control because unless they are raised by the queen they cannot learn properly, so you have to kill them all and when you get to the queen she speaks through a dead body to you and you have to choose to kill her or free her, she convinced me to free her and said she would raise her future children in harmony and peace and sing of your kindness, i havent really played much beyond that part,
but my friend made the same decision and now when he explores planets, ratni attack him.
 
Jade Empire was basically KOTOR, but with much longer conversations and a stupidly broken battle system.
 
I still sense this game will be one I enjoy :D I really hope it comes for PC soon <3
 
Apparently Gamestop and CompUSA broke the release date by a day. I picked the game up earlier today but have yet to play it.
 
I never played Jade Empire, but like 2 months ago I was watching my roommate play it. SO BORING. My roommate made it worse too by making all the pussy choices. I wanted to insult people left and right and he was off getting some bitch medicine for her aids infested leg. He didn't even want to skim anything off the discount the merchant gave. I was sickened! Then he got into a fight with some pissed off classmate who thought he was the best thing since sliced bread, and all my roommate had to do to win was jump around out of range and regen health automatically if he got hurt.

Mass Affect should be good though, if the story is actually interesting this time and the battles aren't super easy.
