That looks pretty cool actually. I say put it on the troops and see the looks on the enemies faces. Reminds me of Robocop a little.
 
Wow...thats actually pretty fuckin cool. I'm more than positive that more extensive tests would need to be done, but if it actually can stand up to assault rifle fire, that would greatly increase survivability in wars.
 
What do you think enemies will do once they can't defend themselves with normal guns and bullets? They will just move to bigger ammunition aka Nuclear Warfare.
 
Or lazer weapons. Set your phasers to stun!
 
Nuclear Warfare is totally overrated.

My buddy, who is currently back in Iraqistan, just came back home for a visit on his six-month leave thingy. I showed him this before he left on monday and he said he'd wear it if it were issued to him lol.

the thing looks dead outright sexy compared to what we have now, and 18kg. for full body protection. incredible. and $2000 as the price tag? phenominal, the canadian forces pays 12 grand for their tempest rated Fiber optic cable assemblies (a 100m reel of fibre optic cable with 2 wonky ends). i would love to see these things in combat trials asap.
