Nice job on it. It looks freaky as hell, but the maws always looked freaky either way, lol.

Better watch out Ota, it might bite your finger off.

Let's see some pictures of the finished product now!

I say it looks pretty good. Very identical to the in-game Maws. Which.... yeah.. looks like some kind of 'Alien' device.

Thanks for the feedback. Here's the Maw baked:

And primed:

Sorry for the low quality screenshots, they're from my cellphone :(

That's freaking awesome! What a cool thing to have around the house too when it's finished. :D

Thanks Miros. Took me almost 3 days to finish it. D: He had too much detail to work on and I even skipped some.

Once again, thanks for watching!

I love it ^^ Awesome job! And I don't know what you mean about the not so awesome job on the painting, I think it looks fabulous :) Keep it up!

You should paint the base too, if you haven't already.

Thank you guys for the positive feedback.

Ecks: The base will be removed for a better one in the future. The only purpose of that base was to create the Maw. I will post it with its new base when I get it.

Meanwhile:

A Pixie. Let's see how this one turns out. It's getting too hard, lol.

I'm getting a break from the pixie. Right now its on her painting process and I should finish her soon... It's not looking so well but meh, I'll still post it.

Felt like do something real quick while I take a break from the Pixie:

Slime.jpg

Everybody likes a slime. But uh.. really. What do you do with these things. The slime looks more like a paper weight than anything else. lol

Sometimes Ecks, you don't need a reason or a purpose to do a figure, It's what you feel like doing at that moment. I felt like doing a Slime, because I'm playing Dragon Quest IX, and I wanted one so I made it. And yes, It's a paper weight figure, so you guessed right!
It happens when you draw aswell. If you don't feel like drawing at that moment, and you still draw something, It might not look as good as if you do it when you're pumped up drawing what you feel like. :)

Slime done:

And Pixie still painting her:

Something happened that the pictures look a lot smaller now >.<

Came to this thread directly after reading the Starcraft thread and couldn't help but think "...A Kerrigan model?...oh...dur!"

Very fine work! Most impressive.

Thanks Alereth. The pixie was a good learning experience.

Ok I fixed the pictures so here they are on bigger size:

Couldn't do larger feets like on the original Pixie due to the armature. Accidentally I did it a bit too small.
I had a lot of fun doing the Pixie, even tho i didn't like much how it turned out in the end. Still need to paint some parts and details on the wings then I will add the acrylic sealer.

Other than the feet, I think you did a pretty good job with the fairy. Looking forward to the finished result.
