Did anyone manage to see this movie. I wanted to go pretty bad but the person I was with was all like "Nah, we're seeing Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" and they were inviting so yeeeeah. Anyway, I've been dying to see the movie since they first hinted about in the original Max Payne's instruction manual some 6 years ago. The only thing I don't think will go off right is the fact that it's PG-13 and you can't really deliver how dark the games were like that.

So to anyone who's seen it, is there a saving grace to this film that might actually get the developers to push out the 3rd game or was it a flop?

I went to see it Saturday. It is awful. I wasn't expecting much and it still managed to disappoint me.

Hey guys

Demons.

No, really

Demons.

No, not the emotional and psychological kind like in the video games

Doom Demons.

Also, Mila Kunis as Mona Sax. What the fuck.

I went in expecting nothing and got nothing ;|

Spoiler:
The movie would've been better if it had just showed that the demons were real >_>

I went with my gf, so $10 for my ticket and $10 for hers. She looked at me after the movie and told me I could never veto one of her movies again.

I just got back from seein' it. I went in with the mentality that the video games didn't exist and it was a movie on its own. I was okay with it, though it wasn't that great, until the end. The lack of a proper endin' made it fail. The movie could have been great, Mark did a fantastic job but everythin' was so cut and dry. Settin' up for a sequel was stupid.

I was worried about the drug, especially after readin' Skaw's post, but it seems like that was one of the few things they got right.
