I've accidentally activated it like twice but I don't know what it does or how to do it again. Am very curious what that is. Probably some type input kind of thing..

That's the japanese IME... You hit like ` or something to activate it. Just type unload IME in the console to turn it off. This is assuming you're using windower, of course. If you're not, then you hit one of FFXI's rare glitches.

From what I've heard, you need to hit, like, Ctrl-Shift-Alt-L-K all at the exact same time, or something. And when you do get a screenshot, it'll be identical to the IME that windower provides, because, well, the windower plugin just activates that glitch for you.
