back to where we were, I was spamming assaults this one was free the prisoner under mamool control which isn't too bad with a bard for mambo and nin or thf for tanking, you force the mamool to break open the gates with their weapon skills

I liked this assault, it's pretty easy you need 2 blm and a rdm for this one but a mix of either is fine we had a blm and the rdm(me) and a bard and the war just there. You have to kill this lamia within the timelimit and keep the mobs on your side(they're charmed initally and will attack you).

So you use dispel to remove the charm and keep the fomors attacking the lamia which do pretty good damage actually and the blm or rdm keeps gravity on the lamia and nukes away. Depending on how many times the lamia uses belly dance it can be hard but ours used it like twice...which made it easy

It took about 2 deaths to get out of that place since i got aggro on the elevator while i was recasting invisible, random enough I get an invite to do pvp with theslayers. Now I'm assuming they wanted to test their upcoming jobs(and smear the floor with me). They're getting all antsy that I'm bringing blue mage to the table saying I'll automatically win. Which isn't entirely true granted blue mages have the ability to inflict a lot of close range damage in a fairly short amount of time they need the time to pull it off first.

Well I got my blue mage geared and ready and I bumped into darsha wearing an oddly familiar blade.

Blueish sword with a diamond on it.

I should have came on rdm, I can mitigate much more damage on that job than blue mage...blue mage is the inverse of rdm more offense at the cost of defense in pvp. Oh well I had plenty of fun even though I was kinda by myself vs 3. I got darsha a few times since I wasn't exactly a pushover it was annoying to figure out when I took off his third eye.

ran into scwall on dowzer, I took this ss because of the way it's portrayed...

We were dead for about 10 mins or so just chatting in tells about normal stuff while we watched our nation take a drilling and orcs running everywhere

Now the thing about rdm that makes it hard to kill is our ability to mitigate damage and sleep as well as debuff others, only neisan can really give me a challenge with his rdm(since he's one too dur) on mine.

Unless of course I'm not using /blu as well which helps tremendously

Chapter 29: The Hat and the Blade


It was another day and another xarc run to dread, I was hoping chapeau would drop(like the other rdms were). I even asked in my seacom if rdm relic exists here, we hadn't gotten a hat since about 3-4 months ago when whetto finished his rdm set. Well I got my rdm geared up and waited at the trial markings

Duke Berith remembered to bring his Duelist Chapeau with him to dynamis in that nick of time. When I saw the hat I had to read the text again to make sure it was the real deal.

Sorcha called out the lots Riemann, Ariadne, and myself lotting

I went first with a 607

Ariadne casted 592...

I let out a sigh but it wasn't over yet, I'd have to pray that I didn't dc in the next 5 minutes so it'd come

When I saw it in my invo, it felt like I had lost some weight off of my shoulders. I guess as far as video games are concerned this would be the crowning moment like when Link gets the Mastersword(or something...not so good analogies to describe it).

That's pretty much the music that kinda played in my head, whenever Link in Majora's mask got a mask that sound.

I still look at it sometimes and wonder if I deserve it since it's a really good piece of gear that I just got even though it was about 9 months after I joined Dynamis Heretics, I still felt uneasy. I usually feel uneasy whenever I get a monumental piece of gear like with yyr or joyeuse but there's that smile behind that uneasiness telling me that I finally accomplished one of my goals.

Getting it was probrably one of my most important goals that I didn't expect to recieve, but it's in my hands and the run felt like a breeze if I had to guess it gave me about 20-30% more accuracy with my debuffs landing(read: a shitload of power).

Way2go Fialy! But yeah going to get my savage blade after finally wearing down my sapara of trials. For getting savage blade it's pretty annoying you have to unlock all 5 crystals to open the altepa gate to enter the area for the ??? to kill Girtablu.

i'd have to get a completely new comp a decent one would be 1k or so and I don't have the money -_-, I could buy one but I can't afford that.

also due to requests the pictures after the 250 i have into photobucket will be smaller so it'll be easier on your comp to upload them
