Fine what I meant to say is that you were the one who immediately started saying shit in /say after someone in your ls called for help. Like you guys were awesome for being able to CFH.

Dood Fubio wasn't even there. He wasn't even apart of our LS at that time.

Unless you're talking about another time? I've only seen one though, wouldn't doubt if Kurei has CFH again.

Not really gonna take sides here since there's so much we'll never know about this incident, but honestly anyone who takes the stance they're more important than other people because of fake game items needs to take a few weeks off from playing said game.

There you go again taking other people's words and twisting them. I didn't say I was better. He called me nobody IN GAME. I said I'm somebody because I obtained lots of rare items that require lots of people's help, which would mean I'm somebody in game. Did I say I was better than him IN GAME or IN REAL LIFE. No, all I said was I'm not nobody. The discussion was purely in game.

I'm not trying to twist anyone's words. I'm just reading and responding in context to what strikes me as odd. In this thread a few pages back there's a discussion between Zal who's obviously a decent guy and Sirel about superiority attitudes and how people come on and say "I have better gear therefore I'm better."

Then you allow yourself to respond by justifying your status and your position by saying that nobody's can't get the gear you have, which is not directly saying but pretty obviously hinting that he's a nobody, as he doesn't have the gear. Which also means everyone who doesn't have the gear is a nobody.

Not twisting, just reading. If that's not your position sorry, that's simply what you said and I assumed it was what you felt.

Just to clarify, no that's not my position. It's not an if and only if kind of thing. You can be somebody and not have rare gear. You can't be nobody and have rare gear. It takes a lot of people to get that kind of gear, and if people are willing to get you that kind of gear, you are somebody.
 
No artem, i never sai di was cool because we called for help on Faf, what are you talking about? Everyone started saying shit, so i stood up for my ls. Everyone was NA that was saying shit, i was the only NA present from my ls. Maybe i shouldnt have stood up for them, but i have made some pretty good friends in the ls. And it just didnt seem right that all you idiots were talkin shit on them and they couldnt stand up for themselves cuz they didnt know what you were saying.

And ya Dowzer, this was when Goldie called for help.. at 7%.. Once again, she says she didnt call for help on purpose, but who cares? Whos going to believe that ? We had everyone up, 1 skillchain it was dead, why she called for help i have no idea, thats why it leads me to believe it really was an accident. Maybe she accidently engaged and went to disengage and called for help? Who knows, We arent the only ls to call for help, Integralis did it a month before us. And nobody said shit.

I beg to differ. Gear does not make the man, man makes the gear. (Conversly, clothes do make the man, but that's an entirely different issue. <,< ) No matter what gear you are wearing, it won't change the person you are. Having a linkshell that gets you those items is great and you should be thankful for it (you obviously are), but that should never be used as any form of argument about superiority. There are a number of key factors which influence why people are able to obtain superior gear over another and it's has very little to do with being a somebody and more to do with opportunity than anything else.
 
It would include things like not pissing off the people whose help you'd need(or as Artem would describe it, sucking dick), leap frogging off linkshell to linkshell and having the right job/gear/skills and being willing to throw away an ungodly amount of time from your personal life.

My disdain for your ls is from before that little incident where jamals and his gf were fabricating information. It goes back before the tiamat incident. Ive been around for a long long time, and I've seen how you guys treat other ls and other people. Its your attitudes. You guys are like the walmart of the quetz server. I explained to zalbar why I hold your ls in contempt. Apparantly you didnt read my post. Did you see me mention jamal anywhere in my post?

Do you honestly believe I am the only person that thinks this way about your ls? There are others that think the same thing. Difference is, I am vocal about it. Once again, since you didn't read my reply to Firestreak. I didn't use gear as superiority. I used it as proof that I'm not nobody as Fubio referred to me. Because to have gear you have to have respect of people to help you, and you are somebody when you have respect. I also never mentioned what gear I have, so you can't possibly draw a conclusion that I was stating my superiority to anyone else. All I said was I have rare gear that takes lots of people to get, which in turns makes me somebody, not nobody.

Also, Sire is misrepresenting what I said. He should really read my posts better. Rare gear is like trophy, it's a representation of what you and your ls have achieved. My LS has helped me a lot, so have many people outside of ls. That alone makes me somebody. Rare gear is just a representation of all the help I've gotten and given. Also, I quite clearly state my gear is far from good. I only referred to rare items that take time and dedication of numerous people to obtain. I never mentioned which items I had, and there you go misrepresenting me like I'm showing off. Also, his name is Zalbag, not Zalbar. Two different people.

I'll have you know I am God's gift to FFXI. Not just God's but alot of dieties all voted me in for the spot a few years ago. I'm sorry if it is distressing being too close to my aura, I'll look into it. I can tell you that there can't be as many people like me as you think, for ego's the likes of mine require alot more room than the rest of you people's. I've always kinda been god-like though, so I would hardly think of it as having been inflated from gear or accomplishments. Sometimes you don't have to do anything special to achieve greatness, but allow others to merely bask in the light of your greatness.
