Ok, WotG has been out for almost a week now. I've still got 4 days left on my evaluation, anybody able to shed some light on medals? Do they raise the exp cap in campaign battles? Or is it just like being Rank 2 instead of Rank 1? Any info would be appreciated.
 
Well since they've done the same for Conquest and Besieged you'd think so.

Edit: If you couldn't guess from the vagueness and sarcasm from my post, it's fairly obvious there's no way to tell till someone gets their second medal and verifies that the duration of sigil has increased.
 
I'm not really sure what you're trying to say. If you're saying "I have no idea" then why post at all? WotG has been out for 6 days now, it takes 5 for medal evaluation. I asked my question because there's a good possibility somebody on these boards has a second medal.

Now, I'm less concerned with Sigil duration. What interests me are the temporary items that become available with other medals, and also if the exp cap from campaign is raised with higher medals.
 
Medals unlock more Campaign OPs which give you more EXP and more AN for completion

You would unlock the rest of the missions first, and then level 2's of the first ones, and so on

There are up to III's in the .DATs, so there are probably a lot of ranks.

edit: No one has confirmed the duration of sigil being increased
 
When I get home tonight, I should be able to get my performace appraised, or whatever. I'll post what I find out if no one else beats me to it. (which I'm certain they will.)
 
Well I was reading on Bluegartr, on page 8 someone mentions getting a brass ribbon of service. Their cap went up to 700 exp/an per campaign battle. I'm still curious as to the temp. items you can get. Hi-pot/ether +3 just doesn't do it for me, I want stuff like you get in besieged. However, I expect we'll have to pay out the arse for it.

I also wonder how high the exp cap goes. It seems they've made it so you can't constantly refresh tags after every kill, it's timed. Say you keep tag on for 5 minutes, instead of 600 exp being the cap, it's 400 (just ballparking these numbers, they may be off). Instead you don't hit the 600 exp cap until you have your tag on for 15 minutes.

You are San D'orian correct? Alfred is who you go to. He's standing where the NPC who gives you your rank missions in the present stands.

Well I would assume it's the same for Bastok. First place I'd check is where the rank mission giver stands in the present.

I have another question and don't want to start another thread.

How do we get our nation to attack an area? Sandy is in control of our own areas and we easily defend them, it would be nice if we could get some NPC's to help attack Rolanberry Fields. I saw one post where a guy thought that you got an NPC for every non-campaign beastman killed in that zone. It would be nice to try that by getting a few Iron Rams together to kill some quadavs.
 
next medal raise exp cap to 700.

xD yeah found her. I have to wait a day to be evaluated :(
 
I just got my medal. It does not increase the duration of Sigil.

Any news on getting past mission 3 or has that finally been confirmed to be the end?

may not be the end tomorrow.. but as of now yes it is the end

Guess I'll just stick to campaign then...save up my notes for later. And I do hope this storyline for once is mostly soloable/small groupable. I like it better this way.

I thought the 5 day wait was after you asked to be evaluated xD
