The five of us (Macmarz, Longdukdong, Cinder, Paddington and I) have been playing this game since well near the PS2 release of FFXI. We all met on a different shell, and after it fell apart, we made TheVoodoolounge. The Voodoolounge was, and still is...as I've said 100 times... a SOCIAL LS. It's an LS that talks to each other, and enjoys itself in that regard. When doing missions, quests, or static EXP parties, the 5 of us seldom do so with other people. If a member of our shell needs help with a mission or a quest, we will give them a hand. As for Breezer, and the Flys... I don't know what the deal with them is. I don't know the history, I never paid much attention, I don't care. I haven't really spoken to them, nor have I partied with them to my recollection. That isn't due to their reputation, I am usually predisposed to only do things with our 5 man team. In my opinion, what they do with their time and monthly payments is up to them, just as what we do, or you do with yours is up to you. Not everyone feels this way, and that's fine. I however, do. As Macmarz said. Complaining about it won't solve anything. Either play the game, or play something else. The childish array of mudslinging and narrow-minded vulgarity is a complete waste of everyone's time and energy. It would be better spent elsewhere. This ridiculous "Death by association" philosophy makes me very disappointed with the internet generation.

what keeps racism alive is when ni99ers rap about robbing and killing crackers, raping hoes and doing drive by's. what keeps racism alive is rednecks who spend their day cursing out blacks for taking their jobs while they sit around drinking pabst blue ribbon.

That has nothing to do with you idiots giving gil sellers a comfortable place to hang out. They are people, and if they aren't welcome somewhere they will eventually move on to other things.

I feel the same way about gil buyers, so don't think I'm attacking the *****s in your LS, if people would stop protecting their gil buying friends, things would be better.
 
This would be a reason why i rarely play this game anymore.

People talking shit on the net and in game knowing full well that the other person cant beat their ass.

Hey meeze it amazes me man it really amazes me people in game complain and talk shit but yet i find this game simple hell more simple then some of my work around the house.

Meeze is probably the nicest person i have met in game and he has always told me how it is harsh or not and i respect that.

Most of you people really do need to analyze your life and ask yourself is it really going to make you all badass by talking shit and not being about it.

I i am glad i dont post on qcdn and i am also glad i dont support gimp players with underleveled sub jobs.

Meeze, it's irrelevant. It really is. I don't buy gil, I don't sell gil, and if I go by what I've seen, and not by what other people say, I don't knowingly associate with anyone who does. I already told you, I am as legit as can be. I just don't agree with ostracizing a player for not playing the game the way that makes you the most comfortable. They aren't emo people... if you don't welcome them, they will just continue what they are doing, only they won't acknowledge you. They aren't going anywhere, and crying about how they hurt the economy is wasteful. Just play the game, or play something else.

Honestly, I just can't win. If I play all by myself, and act elitist, I'll lose interest in the game, and quit. If I play with my friends, I'm suddenly a gilseller/buying advocate. It's just so meaningless. I can't even muster the energy to continue arguing about this. It's like beating a dead horse.

I'm sorry you have such malcontent towards people who worked hard to get through higher levels of education. It is of course by no means a requirement for living a fulfilling life, but it is wise to not insult ones education if in fact they have it.

I don't care if your a non college educated Latino.... the fact is you come on here acting like some pendejo. You want to solve things with a physical interaction? Whatever bro.... The fact is that in RL we might be able to get along just fine after a few beers. This is about your FFXI opinions and activities. All I ever ask is for you to stop grieving over lost NMs etc. and just get on with the game, if you still play. And for god sakes stop the hate speak. We don't need that on the server!

I don't have a problem with higher educated people, I employed quite a few of them and they usually worked out ok, once they figured out what I was teaching them would make them a paycheck, and what they learned in college only got them a piece of paper.

I never said anything about physical interaction, I just wanted to know if you were the type to talk behind a keyboard or would actually spit it to someones face. You want to act superior with a degree? fine, come act superior to my face. I've post my RL accomplishments here before and learned that no one believes me, and while they disbelieve me they won't come find out about me. I've done it without a degree, I made more money last year doing nothing but playing FF and making a couple phone calls than most people will ever make.

Regardless of what I think, or you think, gil sellers contribute to the demise of this server, and sheltering them doesn't help. You want what is good for our server? Proove it.
 
It's kinda hard to take someone seriously on their "higher education" when they can't spell academia properly.

All I can say to prove it, is I play legit, and I'll help someone when they need it. I have no control over who joins, or who is removed from the shell. It's not my call, and I don't really care. But I will not leave a shell full of my friends, just to define myself as acceptable in your eyes. I've tried my best to stop the bickering, and wasteful drama. But it's obvious that my efforts are in vain. I am sorry if I am no longer reputable. I suppose there is nothing I can do about it.

It is up to you and everyone in that shell who joins. If they wont boot people your shellmates don't aprove of they aren't really your friends.

If you sit there silently not liking gil sellers in your LS, no one will ever know how you feel.

You're so well off I hope you live in Richmond past the tunnel by the YC, otherwise Richmond is a pretty harsh place save a few areas. This still does not matter, and I would tell you to your face that I think how you present yourself on FFXI is wrong. We can agree to disagree, and that is fine. I just am fed up with the whole you have RMT your ARE RMT argument. It has no merit. Moreover... notjing will come of it. RMT will never go away, there is already RMT on RF ONline and DD Online.. RF is a fucking beta with RMT for god's sake! You need to just accept the fact that some peopel are involved with it... but friends of those who may be involved with it are not RMT themselves.

Again we are a social shell, and that is all. There are really only 8 to 10 of us that do mission etc regularly, and this is not including those you call RMT

Anyways..... I just want the hate to stop because it counter productive for the server.

After reading through this post....there's some precious minutes I'll never get back....I can safely say that Meeze has declined in my estimation. There was actually a time when I appreciated his views on the economy and it's state, even if I didn't always agree, but now he's just another insult-spewing Troll. Cheap threats that can't be backed-up and insults about people's wives are just more proof that this entire nature of tread, the "I hate so-and-so" variety, are better suited to reruns of Jerry Springer. Grow up for christ's sakes and confine your nasty comments to those you have issue with and leave Mac's wife out of it...she sure as hell is not "fat" or "fugly" and she's a hell of alot nicer than most people I've met in online games. If you all want to prove how tough you are by talking such copious amounts of horseshit let's see you back it up and actually make good on these threats....I'm sure the GMs would be happy to discuss your views on the "chnks" you hate so much.

I do find the whole "Macmarz is a wigger" thing damn funny....he's the whitest person I know next to myself lmao. His name "Mazmarz" is a play on his own name in real life....you remember real life....it takes up alot of space outside the game.

This is my one and only comment on this thread since I can contribute nothing of use and there's no need to feed the Trolls anymore....they're fat enough now. Thank you.

I live in the Annex, play on a plasma...on the ground...with no couch...but thats a different story. If I had a boat to pull up to my porch I might move past the tunnel.

I don't think you'd tell me anything to my face to be honest with you, but I won't put you on the spot to prove yourself, I'll just leave it at that.

I play how I play, and act how I act, but I will always speak my mind, and will always allow those around me to speak their mind. I don't have members of my shell PM'n people about how they won't speak up against how I run things. If someone has a problem with member(s) of my LS they can do so without sacrificing our friendship. And they know they can.

I've never said you guys are RMT, I don't believe helping RMT makes you RMT, it makes you a target, but not RMT.

You keep talking about what is counterproductive to the server, and like I said before, regardless of what either of think, RMT is counterproductive. So I ask you, why associate with people who are counterproductive. You won't associate with me cause I'm counterproductive, but you will RMT...don't get it.

As far as empty threats, let your boy marz come down to the bay and see how empty they are. He doesn't like my "keyboard hero"isms, he may appreciate my RL heroism.
 
Hey I actually think we'd be cool to talk in person. Honeslty it would probably be better than our banter on here. At least we could come to some sort of understanding. If they are RMT do I care is the question? No, I don't care.

Just a social LS.. when we do BCNM or NM hunting it's always a striaght split. Though we get a claim as rarely as any of you do. What they do with their even split is for them to decide. For the most part they do their thing we do ours and just use the LS to BS the day away.

I again just want peopel to stop with the hate speak, just play the game and deal with it

What I do here on QCDN is have fun. I enjoy posting my opinion, one that many people would never support even though there are no reprecussions on the internet.
