MEGAMAN 9

I think Duke Nukem 3D was just released on XBL also lol... I love these downloadable games..
 
Ten dollars isn't a lot at all. I'm just waiting for the downloadable content to come out. I'm curious about the extra bosses and levels that are going to be released.
 
Bionic Commando was a $15 dollar game that Capcom generously sold for $10, unless you were buying the PC version. It really shouldn't be considered the bar for $10 price points. It was simply just a steal for it's offered price on XBLA and PSN.
 
Man... Is it true the Duke Nukem 3D has online co=op added to live?
 
It had online co-op on the PC release. So if it supports live, it should have it too.
 
:D I just bought the full version. Man, I love the Megaman games.

Disagree, Bionic commando was no greater value than any of the Pixeljunk series, which are all at $10.

To me...

$5 is a low budget type game. A PSN or XBLA version of a card or board game or a low resolution oldy type game. Stuff that was obviously churned out on a small budget and offers little value over what I can play online for free.

$10, now we're talking about something high res and new and unique. The $10 level is very competitive with a lot of nice games in that range already.

And above $15 I want something that has a certain quality to it, that it could work in a sense as a full release printed on disc. Like Warhawk for $30 on PSN, or something like Puzzle Quest or the new Ratchet and Clank thing.

I don't care about the graphics. I bought it solely cause I love all the Megaman games. And it's 11 dollars and 18 cents. Who cares? lol
 
I'm not arguing value with you Fire, I'm just telling you that Bionic Commando was a $15 game that was voted into a $10 digital copy price tag by fans.
 
Just got megaman 9 off the PSN, so totally worth the £7 =D

I also want to get it for wiiware too =3
 
Good lord, they either made it slightly more difficult or my platforming skills have eroded. Right now I'm just on the Rockman demo level and the combination of birds dropping rocks and the floating green things spitting out energy balls is frustrating. Getting older sucks. :)

hehe same for me, I've been playing megaman 2 recently to brush up my skills and I still suck at both megaman 2 and megaman 9 XD

So~ cool!
 
Just beat it, and I'm getting ready to go through my second play through.
I did a time attack on Splash Woman's stage, though I got a decent time out of 2:10ish. Then I check the leader boards, and there's a nice little 1:30 sitting at the top.
Back to try it again!
 
Megaman 9

Either i'm so rusty at classic gaming that this is hard for me, or the completely random instadeath rating on this game has been ramped way up. I don't remember there being quite so many deathspikes pitfalls or cheese (spiders at the top of the only ladder for instance) in the early rockman titles. Also, the stages seem much shorter.

And when I heard the noise for those stupid appearing-reappearing block puzzles my childhood screamed in agony. I'd forgotten how much I hate them and their zhwooop!
