Memphis '07-'08 season wins to be stripped

[Tymon]

I was really pissed off at our choke in the championship 2 years ago, but now I'm pretty glad we didn't win.

It would be a lot more souring to have a championship title taken away than a runner's up season.

Thoughts?

It was because Derrick Rose apparently didn't study enough on his SAT

You can't strip a win, you've already won and lived in the moment. So all this does is change the credits, the least of which matters.

This is the truth. But like Ty said, it would hurt alot more if it was a Championship that was being taken away. I'm a die-hard Pittsburgh Penguins fan. If they told me tomorrow that this years Stanley Cup would be taken away, I'd be pissed, but the jubilation I felt through the playoff run and eventually winning it all is not replaceable. Ever.

Every time I hear of something like this coming from the NCAA I can't help but think of the ministry of truth.
