The title speaks for itself. It's a show on [adult swim] about...metal. Actualy the most metal band ever, dethklok. Their the most popular band in the world; fans sign "pain waivers" before their shows in the likely even they be injured/killed, thereby releasing dethklok from any/all liability. The show was created by Brendan Small, which if anyone watches [adult swim], knows that he created Home Movies. The show aims to be a parody of the various types of metal out there (hardcore, death, black, heavy, etc.) but it mainly just is brutal as hell. Great show, to me anyway (and I think Skaw can back me up on that). Anyone else watch/seen it?

So many awesome quotes from that show. And the music is t3h shit. I'm learning how to play Thunderhorse on guitar from ep. 2 right now.

That it is indeed. Playing it is even better...if I could ever do it. Brendans a really good guitarist and the stuff he's making up is just amazing. While were on the topic of the music, whats everyones favorite song?

Even though some of their music is about stupid shit like Duncan Hills Coffee, it aint half bad.

Dethklok album drops Sept 23, featuring full versions of all the songs in the show, and three additional songs. The DVD for season 1 comes out Oct 2.

Season 2 of Metalocalypse starts in late Sept.

Great show, I'm also a huge fan of Home Movies, which is an earlier Brendan Small cartoon.
I'd have to say my favorite song is Murmaider, because it's about mermaid murder.
 
This necro was completely worth it. Metalocalypse is the greatest show on TV... I'm gonna have to buy this CD <3
