Multi-Plat MGS V

Re: MGS IV

David Hayter as Snake was always fail to me. Snake is and will always be Akio Otsuka. It's like taking out any Japanese language track with Norio Wakamoto, it should be punishable by law.

Re: MGS IV

hmmI coulda sworn the title I had was MGS V >.>

And boo you :| David Hayter is a great snake. Don't be a weeaboo :O

Me thinks you don't know what a weeaboo is, aside from being a defense of ignorance.

I know what it is, I'm just over-exaggerating/joking about your preference of the Japanese VA compared to David Hayter.

Hayters gotta Hayt.

Fair enough. I just hate being called that, and most people generally mean it. I enjoy my American parts just as much as any other and it makes me cringe to see a Japanophile being, well, a Japanophile. For what it's worth, I wouldn't prefer to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games in English either.

Ecks, that's a good one (no sarcasm, I chuckled a bit). I don't mind the guy one bit. I think he does a great job (better than most English V.A.s for sure), I'm just so used to Coke anymore that when I end up with a Pepsi, despite liking it very much too, it just doesn't have that comfortable feeling that Coke does.

That's understandable :P generally who we hear first is who we associate with the character so when there's a voice change it's like "wut o.o" and can be jarring/not as appealing with what we are used to. I know I'm that way a lot with many anime characters who get voice changes (like Ranma for one :P)
