Actually, my biggest gripe is no Soundwave in this movie. Soundwave was the coolest Transformer ever - was always my favorite. Ah well, I can understand how some Xmen fans felt about the continued exclusion of Gambit now that the shoe is on the other foot so to speak. We need Soundwave.

Why? Soundwave might have a great personality but to be fair, hes a shit robot. They said from the start they werent going to have any mass shifiting or blocky, unrealistic transformations.
 
they should have brought Dinobot and Rattrap into this movie :D
 
No "unrealistic transformers" that in itself is an oxymoron as transformers as a whole are about the most unrealistic thing you could have, i would believe in a real life walking and talking Kirin before i would believe in a robot that can transform itself at will into a semi truck and drive aroound and then back into an ass kicking robot... not that i am knocking transformer just stating the apparently not so obvious fact that transformers aren't realistic.

I said unrealistic TRANSFORMATIONS not transformers; ie. transformations where what has been produced could not possibly have been what it transformed from as half of it has disappeared somewhere or something.

Please utilise your reading skills next time.

He'd be an ipod in the movie. Thats why Bumblebee isn't a VW, because it isn't the 1980s. They aren't popular anymore.
 
I didn't think the trailer looked that bad. You gotta realize these are from the 80s. It only natural they update the look for a movie. (xmen got new costumes? we all still loved it - the first two at least.) Yeah, the flames are a bit much, but I don't care what Optimus Prime looks like, I care what he sounds like. Peter Cullen is the voice, and he can do no wrong. Its not Prime's red and blue you remember, its his voice.

well Michael Bay said hes planning on doing a Sequels and both Soundwave and Shockwave well be major characters

but ya iam soundwave fan ;p
 
One of the greatest lore surrounding the decepticons for me was the fact that the "Leader" Megatron turned in gun, how this kept others from over throwing him idk, wait a minute...Starscream DID over throw him...(sorry)

On a more movie related note, anyone know how they are gonna have megatron, I assume tank but I could be wrong.
